The 3D Pulse headset is specifically tuned for the 3D audio the PS5 uses, fits comfortably,and has good solid battery life. I have only ever used these head phones with my PS5 and for good reason. 100% would recommend these to anybody who wants to get the very most of their Playstation 5.

These earphones are great entry-level phones for the Playstation 5. You can use them wirelessly or wired in to your choice of device. I used it with my cellphone and tablet. It fits comfortably over the ears. The padding is sufficient and securely keeps the headphones in place. These are no way near the professional level headsets but gets the job done. I'm sure an audiophile will pick a different unit over these. For gaming and everyday use it is more than enough. Best used by a teenager or adult who will not abuse it. Good for teenagers or adults that want to use it for gaming. Highly recommended for entry level into Playstation 5 gaming.

[Employee of bestbuy] Good heads for the money. Very light weight and can fit on any head size. Battery life is actually longer than I expected. Don’t have to charge as much. If your in a room with other guests. At times you can hear them speaking. Depending on how close you are to them. But other than that. Good choice for first set of gaming headphones.

Bought these on a whim to see how well and 3D audio and immersive sound would be and was very impressed. The headphones come with a mm cord for plug in. Overall fit is comfortable and suitable for long gaming sessions. Decent battery life but be ready to charge between one to two days depending on your play style.

I was looking for something comfortable but not to expensive. This definitely did the trick. The 3D feature is cool and will definitely be even better with future games. I’m mostly a loner, that single player life. The sound quality and the bass hits just right for that. The mic is clear and picks up great (for when that one friend wants to talk to me). All in all this headset is definitely worth it. Music, movies, and shows don’t sound bad at all either!!

3D audio is a game changer! Especially if you play first person shooters like COD or Battlefield. Replaying The Last Of Us (both parts) is also amazing with this headset, it sounds like you’re actually there. Special audio is the real game changer with the PS5. The headset itself isn’t too heavy and is comfortable to wear for longer gaming sessions. The built in mic sounds great as well. Overall a great headset if you’re lucky enough to be able to find one!

All plastic construction and relatively budget-friendly feeling build quality. The controls are fiddly and not easy to distinguish on the left ear-piece. They ditched the app they used to have with the old Playstation Gold and Platinum headsets they had for the ps4, and now all eq settings are done from playstation menus in settings. They are relatively comfortable, very light, the mic is passable, the sound is fairly decent, and I even like the "3D" sound the playstation uses for playing games. The padding on the ear pads is not as thick as I would like.

This headset is awesome. Sounds very good and crisp. The bass isn’t that strong but good enough. The overall 3D sound is great as well. It’s not as comfortable as some headphones I’ve used but isn’t terrible for long play times. Very easy to connect to the PS5 and I’m guessing the same for the PS4. Definitely would recommend to buy as a great add on to your PlayStation. I’ve only used these with games but I’m sure they sound good with movies as well.

The headphones sound great, especially the 360° sound, which is really useful for playing Call of Duty. The battery life is great, and it is a very comfortable fit though it does not really give the option to adjust. It is not Bluetooth. A dongle has to be connected to one of the console's USB ports for it to work. Hooking it up wired to the controller makes the headphone's buttons lose functionality.

My only negative comment about these headphones is that the USB Bluetooth connector doesn't have a storage location inside the headphones. That would take the worry of losing it away when switching devices or locations. I use them with my PC, PS5, phone calls (over PC) and for Teams/Zoom calls at work. The mic and sound quality are premium. Also very lightweight and don't hurt to use.

Got these for my sons birthday as he’s been asking for “gaming headphones” for awhile now. After looking at others reviews we both decided on these ones because unlike others in this price range it comes with “noise canceling” which he wanted for a specific game to hear better on. Well so far he loves them. Said now when he’s playing his game he can hear the background noises and surround sounds he couldn’t previously. For tue price of these it’s a great deal. The only negative thing I would say is as a mom when I’m calling his name from downstairs he can’t hear me at all which can be a good or bad thing lol. Overall highly recommend especially for the beginners out there not wanting to spend allot of money.

Pretty comfortable and great sound. Really like that it’s wireless and can do hours of gaming

This is my 4th Sony wireless headset dating back to 2010'ish. I also have few pricier models from Logitech, Bose, etc. All in all it's a very good headset for the price, giving good fidelity and descent bass. It is light weight and comfortable wearing for couple of hours at a time. Also works well for PCs.

Great sound! True 3D headphones. Nice addifion to the PS5. Wireless and comfortable.

These headsets may look strange, but they are very lite, and comfortable over long gaming sessions. They reduce background noise and have a very clear sound. Best of all, when you turn them on, the sound is automatically redirected to them, turning off your normal output. USB-C charging. Zero complaints. (Well OK, they would be better in all black, but that's minor.) I definitely prefer these to me old Sony Golds.

These headphones are ergonomic and make the gaming session incredibly immersive, reducing background noise. The sound balance controls for "chat-game" are excellent. I also appreciate the decision to integrate the microphone into the headset, which enhances the headset's design.

I bought these headphones and I was honestly going to return them because I didn't really see the benefits compared to my other headsets. After I adjusted the settings for 3d audio on the ps5, it has improved massively. Also, certain games like COD....the sound is just amazing .. hearing bullets, and people running, and everything else. Now I am super hooked on the headphones. I say they are worth every penny. And they are comfortable as well

Sound is clear and headset is comfy even with my glasses on, wish it was a bit louder though. 3D audio is amazing.

These are the most comfortable gaming headphones I have put on. The sound is really really good but I could go for just a little more bass (even after tweaking the setting through the PS5). Different shapes/textures for the buttons would be nice because it takes a while to get use to which buttons do what but it is not a big enough issue for me to knock it down below 4 stars.

What I like about the Sony Pulse is the sound is great without an amplifier, I can control chat and game volume separately, easy to mute, and the freedom of wires! Read on for a long boring story but I believe it’s useful for those considering spending more many than what these cost. I’ve been a long time Astro fan. I own the A40TR and mix amp as well as my son has a set also so yeah that’s $500. I got great use out of them with the PS4. I have just had non stop issues with them being used with the PS5. Chat issues where I hear echo, disconnecting issues, replaced the cable from head phones to Amp 3 times. Perhaps there is a reason the PS5 doesn’t have optical support. I was tempted to buy another $250 headset but a friend of mine had these Pulse 3D wireless headphones and never had issues. It is a Sony product so you know Sony will support it! Does it sound as good as the A40s no but in the current state they sure do. I’m not here to say these are better by any means but I’m not spending more money to go through the same issues. My plan now is to enjoy the consistent chat and game play audio and perhaps if the A40s get better support I can always hook them up again.
