Love this recorder. Very discrete and slim profile, good audio quality with the option to pause recordings mid session. I would reccomend this to a friend that needed one.

Purchase to record zoom meetings where I was reponsibl for note taking and sending out to the group. It does just that. In hindsight, I wish I would have paid more and purchased a recorder that allowed you to rewind and listen and also fast-forward to various sections of the recording.

Used for lectures in a healthcare education program. Works very, very well. Even when I run late and I'm sitting in the back of the class. I can plug in the USB into my car and listen to recordings while driving, and the recordings can be uploaded to iCloud with ease.

Records well. Needed some recordings off of radio and videos. Play, pause and hold buttons are self explanatory, Never used a digital recorder before, so was not sure how to transfer to a computer file. There is a USB that slides out from the recorder for direct input to the computer USB port. Once inserted, shows up as IC recorder. After clicking on that, there were several choices (?). I picked REC and once clicked on, the folder with the recording is there for download. Maybe all self explanatory to someone versed in this, but I really am not knowledgeable with computers. That is why an 'average ' for ease of use. It may be 'good or excellent' if you already know how to use it.

I needed a recorder to help me with mesaages at church. Just a small congregation , bit i wanted to be sure of what i say and make sure that my dialect is plain and understandable. I can playback, or download , or even listen through the car or other devices. I can save it to ma phone or pc and it is also memory upgradable. Very clear recording and easy to use. I love it.

I would definitely recommend this recorder for anyone attending college. I record all my hard lectures so I can listen to them at home. All recordings have great quality without any extra background noise and it's very easy to use. Plus it's also very convenient because you don't even need a cord to connect it to your computer, it comes with USB plug in. I love it!

Great playback, no static and easy to use. Wish the screen was lit so I could see it in the dark.

Use this all the time as a speech and language pathologist. Perfect for language samples. I love the usb component so that I can plug it into my lap top then save the recordings to my google drive. . Didn’t break my bank and works awesome.

This is a great recorder for beginners ! Had to retire my old audio cassette recorder, for my notes taking . My old cassette recorder, died, after 20 years of wonderful service. Its was a Sony. Then I was strongly advised to try this digital recorder, and it's just marvelous ! You CAN"T GO WRONG WITH SONY PRODUCTS ! I just LOVE this recorder ! The only problem I have with it, I still have great difficulty, transferring my digital recordings, to another media. Hopefully, someone will be able to help me. There is still something I must be missing, when I follow the instructions.

Works with ease without complicated maneuvers and fast. The flashing light when recording helps immensely. The form factor is perfect with easy grasp and operation with one hand, which is necessitated often with my usage. The sound is loud enough and crisp. The ability to delete recordings is much easier than other recorders i have possessed. All in all, an excellent recorder.

This is my first experience with a digital recorder, and I have been very impressed. The operation is simple, the recordings are better than any other medium I have used, and the transfers of the recordings to my computer files is incredibly easy. The device is surprisingly small and lightweight, but well built.

It works good. Records for a long time. It's easy to use. Love how small it is. I was able to accomplish my task with this recorder.

Bought it to record meeting minutes. So far works well. Pros: Recorded sound quality is good and picks up most conversations from audience members. I also like the USB retractable port - don't have to search for a cord & makes it easy to plug in & quickly download the meeting. Cons: Probably just user error but wish the fast forward button worked better. When trying to fast forward thru the recording sometimes it resets to the beginning too easily.

Very easy to use and set up. Great for recording important information during meetings so you can pay attention instead of spending your time trying to take notes. You can save the recordings on the recorder and also transfer to a computer. I highly recommend.

It's a Sony product made in Japan, so it's compact, of good quality, and very easy to use.

I bought the PX series and wrote a glowing review of that one. I bought this as a backup, just in case. As I stated in the other review, I write guidebooks for Mexico and take notes on my recorder during long car trips. This recorder is simpler than the Sony-PX, and the recording quality is very good, but not quite on par with the PX. But it is half the money and for what you are paying, it is a good value. If your recording is done at quiet environments, and you don't need much noise cancellation, this will probably work for you. If the environment is noisy, like in a car, you'd do better to buy the PX. If you get this instead of the PX, you might find the Panasonic mic a welcome addition.
