I have been using a cassette recorder for the last 25 years. I thought I'd upgrade to digital. This is not a user friendly device. not intuitive at all. This might be good if you are wanting to import files to the pc. - during playback, you can't rewind a few seconds if you missed something. You have to start all over from the beginning. - if you are playing a file back, you should be able to stop and immediately delete. But no, you have to go through an elaborate menu system just to delete.

Make sure to read description, this is a minimal but great digital voice recorder. Not very flashy on feature but works great and battery like is good.

I bought this recorder for class lectures. It’s a little difficult to navigate. I like the fact that you can upload the files straight to your pc with the usb

Used the recorder to record family history from an elderly family member. Was able to hear his voice clearly and didn’t miss any important details. Worked like a charm!

The interface and screen will make you feel like you're in 1999 again...but once you get the hang of it, it works quite well. Especially with external microphones.
