Works well but screen is not backlit if that’s important to you. The Sony app for playback that you can download is only supported for Windows, no MacOS.

I really loved the fact that transferring files were very easy as the recorder comes with a USB port already attached to the recorder so all i had to do was simply plug it into the computer and transfer files quick and easy. Didnt have to go looking for a usb cable to connect the recorder to the computer, like I normally do!

Pretty poor quality for what the price is. You start recording yourself and you sound like almost a robot. Monotone and really almost like a third world recording device. This is definitely not for students trying to take notes. You really have to be having the product almost up to your mouth. Kind of disappointing when you think about technology and where we are. This is so dated and early 2000s quality. I think I can’t even return it because I’m past a 30 day window. And what stinks is I actually paid more money just for the memory card.

I'm not very good at taking notes. This voice recorder makes it easier to listen to conversations when playing back. It has a very sensitive microphone and picks up everything.

does what it advertises;; no complaints! Only comment is i wish they had a charger option as opposed to relying on batteries only.

I got it to keep up with a fast speaking professor and it works great!
