Also using it for capturing Q&A in a crowd setting. Can still capture answers with some of the background noise. I'm satisfied with this unit. This is my 1st recording unit. So, I have nothing else to compare it to. It does work much better than the audio recording on my iPhone

My 7th Sony Recorder!

This one has changed feature options a bit and is much lighter weight. However, it still works great. I like the convenient size.

It has picked up the sound and voices that I need for it. I've been getting used to navigating it and such with the different options. The files transferred easily to my computer as well. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rewind feature is a little clunkier and getting used to it. I would give it 4.5 out of 5 if I could honestly.

I bought it to record a class and it picked up every person in the classroom who spoke except a couple who pretty much whispered. A fine tool. I would buy it again if I needed another one and I highly recommend it.
