A spare battery is needed.

The Sony a6000 goes through batteries fairly fast. A spare battery is really needed and will certainly be used it you do a lot of shooting in a day. I have always only relied on factory batteries because of their quality and dependability. Thus, I bought the Sony brand spare battery for my a6000 and I am very happy with it.
