My camera is known for draining batteries quickly, so I purchased 2 batteries.

It's just as good as the original because it *is* the original. I wish the battery life was longer, but that's more the camera's fault. It's a bit expensive at retail price - which would normally make aftermarket batteries more attractive - but the sale discount I found was enough to negate the typical premium to have "SONY" stamped on the side.

Can't beat OEM

I wouldn't trust an "aftermarket" battery paired with my camera that costs almost into the thousand range. While I'm sure some aftermarket batteries are good, why chance it when you can get a factory original part that is backed by the manufacturer?
