The flash on the camera can take a lot of battery especially when any Wi-Fi features are on. This is definitely worth the minimal amount in comparison to the price of a camera!

I actually purchased two additional batteries and feel secure now since it does take time to recharge these batteries. Buy the battery charger as well rather than relying just with the cable to the camera.
