Went with Sony because I didn't want to risk an off-brand battery. Over the life of the camera (Sony a6000) and battery the difference is minimal. I learned long ago not to skimp for critical items.

They don't come charged out of the box, but why would you expect them to? They'd just die in the package while sitting in a warehouse somewhere. Think about it.

Hope it wont cause any issues any time soon. Couldn't trust any online sellers as there are too many reviews about getting fake products or warranty/support issues.

It'll keep you going all day. Using the wifi features (like beaming images or remote control on the phone) will eat up quite a bit of power.

I have about 7 of them for my a7s and I still want a few more. I never go off brand with batteries going in my cameras though so there really isn't any other option.

But these batteries are small enough to carry a few extra and who doesn't already have a few extra batteries anyway, am I right?
