The battery power last a very long time. I bought this for back up for a trip to the big Island of Hawaii. There are no specialty shops or best buy there. I plan to take lots of pictures and videos and do not want to be slowed down waiting on charging a battery

Bought this battery to have an extra one available for my new camera. Nice to have a spare so that you do not have to stop and recharge before taking more photo when camera battery charge is depleted.

This battery lasted our sony until the next day and we had a wedding to take pictures of that day.

Definitely worth the money. Battery holds the charge and lasts a lot longer than the cheaper versions.

I have a sony a5000 camera and wanted to stick to the original battery brand and this one works just as great as the one that came with the camera. I might buy another one to have extra batteries.

It's always better to have a backup battery on hand and I love that I can shoot my long events and not have to worry about my battery life expiring too soon.

I was pretty 'meh' about this, but figured it was better to be safe than sorry. I was right. Battery life on the camera is fine, but since you have to plug it in to charge the battery, a second one is handy when you're not near an outlet and/or can't stop shooting.

So far has been working great just like my OEM battery that came with my Sony a6100. Tossed out my two Amazon batteries that died within two months of purchasing.

Sony makes amazing batteries for their cameras.. they last forever and can definitely get through most of a days shots.

Definitely get you a few of these if you are vlogging a lot! The battery life lasts a long time but def need a few on deck if you don't have time to keep waiting for it to recharge.

Reviewed many options, most of which were not SONY brand, looking for the best balance between cost and performance. All promised to deliver full performance and claimed it would work as good as the manufacturer's original, but did not (maybe could not) claim to be as good as the SONY. So I went with the SONY brand, and have been fully impressed with results. You do get what you pay for.

Aftermarket batteries are cheaper but I have had them fail on me. This battery, when charged, takes over 200 pictures with manual lense and stays charged for weeks. Two of these got me through a two month trip out west without any problems.

I shoot with a Sony A7sII, which requires this type of Sony battery, and thankfully, it was just what I needed. Although it basically only lasts about 90 minutes in the A7sII, that's better than nothing, plus I had extra batteries and chargers to support while I was shooting. Buy a charger as well if you end up buying this battery.

As a professional videographer & photographer I can never have too many batteries, I've tried many off brand variants but non of them seem to hold up quite as well as the Sony. The recent price drop on the NP-FW50 has made me very happy!
