I bought this so I wouldn't be caught without a freshly charged battery. While there are other brands available for your Sony, why risk compatability issues and charge indicator errors. Unless you never stray from home with your camera, a spare battery is a necessary item to have. After a shoot, I rotate my batteries from camera to charger and install my freshly charged one in camera. That way, my camera is ready to go when I am. I will grab my other battery from the charger on the way out the door.

I purchased this as a backup battery for my Sony RX10 iv. I’ve read many reviews saying one battery isn’t enough if you are using the camera all day. I’ve always purchased backup batteries for any camera I e ever owned. I stick with official brand accessories. This definitely works great. Very satisfied. Got it on sale and with some rewards $$$, so i was really happy. I believe these batteries are very strong and durable.

I always need a Backup battery and this fits my Sony a6000 perfectly. It charges quickly and allows me to take more pictures!

Battery made by Sony for Sony camera. Lasted several hours under continuous shooting in the cold, in Antarctica. Highly recommend instead of an alternative brand. Well worth the money, considering its dependability.

Bought second battery for Sony ZV-E10. Only had for a couple of days, but given the size and duration of use for full soccer practice and family event on 1 battery, the OEM battery is the way to go.

Bought a second battery for Sony a7ii. Some of the reviews from the unit itself stated that the battery lifetime was not all that great while using the battery for a long time. I decided to pick this spare battery. and it works perfectly with my unit. The battery itself its a bit pricey, but Its a must have for all those long trips with the camera.

Took this battery on a long vacation with me. Was not expecting the battery to last more than 3 hours (with constant use) according to my camera's manual. Expecting to run out of battery and have to charge every day, I was pleasantly surprised when that never happened! Battery never died with using it all day long (on/off several times, was not nonstop use, but fairly close) and I did not have to charge it every day.

Because I bought my Sony mirrorless camera for a trans-continental driving trip I took this summer, I also bought this extra Li ion battery. As there's lots to see out there and not always a place to charge up, let alone the issue of your battery dying just when there's something fantastic to photogaph, I would recommend you never buy a camera without a spare battery. It saved my trip more than once!

My camera came with the Best Buy generic NP-FW50 battery as someone switched out when they returned camera. Generic works fine in camera but cannot be charged in the Sony charger as dimensions are slightly smaller than real thing. Bought the NP-FW50 as second battery, which everyone should have, and based on use in a different Sony camera. Very happy with the real Sony product including battery life.

Works great. Compared with several other brands and pleased with the Sony camera battery. Pay attention to the FW or FZ or other, before purchasing as I bought the wrong type for my camera originally and had to return it for the correct model number battery.

Great battery life! Well worth the price as the cheapest batteries on amazing do not last through photography sessions half of what this one does.
