Definitely recommend getting a battery charger if you don’t have one already.

This is expected given the cameras relative small form factor. --You have more than one memory card right!? So stack up on extra batteries! Your pockets/camera bag won't mind.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.as batteries go, this rechargeable lasts only a couple of hours in Sony a7, which is disappointing for the price paid for it, which is why I bought another one. I would run out of power at an event. Most batteries this size are half the price.

BUT LIKE WITH MOST BATTERIES THEY DONT. BUT IF YOUR DOING A LOT OF PICTURE TAKING, YOU ALREADY KNOW TO BUY MULTIPLE BATTERIES.

Battery is the exact model# that came with the original camera. Works fine with camera, but still camera seems to go through batteries quite quickly.
