Second, back up battery, used with the plug in wall charger. Now I have a fully charged backup on trips, hikes, and when I forget to charge the original battery. Ha!

At least one extra battery is a requirement, especially for traveling. I ran it dry on several occasions - just out and about shooting, at the museums, at the concerts. It's small enough to be easy to carry, recharges fairly quickly, and well, what else can i say than you simply cannot shoot without a spare.

The same battery that came with my a6400! It’s nice to have a backup that can be charged while the other is being used!

This was purchased as a backup battery. It has served its purpose and works great. It retains its charge for several days.

Great battery with long life when in use for photos. For video use it has decent life but not the greatest. I will be buying an additional one for extra use.

I was told not only by the Best Buy employees but also customers standing close enough to hear our conversation to buy this battery. Black Friday made it a good price. It's better to have an extra battery charged and ready to go then to have the one your using go dead with no backup.

If you're new to the Sony mirrorless world, be sure to stock up on extra batteries. The cameras are amazing, but they of course have relatively short battery life - an acceptable trade-off for the size and weight. I've noticed that Sony batteries tend to last longer than 3rd party options.

Don't waste your time with copies. My experience with Sony camera batteries over 16 years has taught me to trust the real deal. They can be fully charged for years of reliable power.

As always, legitimate batteries tend to last longer and this is only the 1st replacement battery I’ve bought for my old A7.

Fantastic! I can film 4k for a few hours… sometimes filming for companies it last the entire day if you turn on and off the camera when not in use… I feel like full charge takes around 2-3hrs

I have 3 of these batteries, which I used quite extensively on my cruise and land excursion's on my trip to Alaska. These batteries are original Sony brand batteries. I would change out and use these batteries every day and at night. I would highly recommend this battery.

Great quality batteries for your a6000 series cameras. Much better than off brand choices. Longer battery life would be nice but they're not that big, so I suggest grabbing a few of them to make sure you can keep shooting photos/video.

GREAT battery and is quick to recharge. Would highly recommend for Sony camera use Just make sure it is the proper size for your psrticular camera model.

I have bought knock-offs on Amazon and those did not hold their charges pretty well. This Sony battery from Best Buy, however, seems to last longer

Having extra batteries is a basic concept, but why not have all of the battery life that's available? Why aren't these extended life batteries included with the cameras? We know the answer, but that won't help you in the field. So spend the bucks and be in the best shape possible!

Very glad I bought the SONY OEM extra battery and wall charger. I actually planned to buy after-market battery but then decided to buy SONY OEM. The buy 3, get 25% off special at Best Buy was a nice price point. Thanks Best Buy and SONY.
