This battery is good to have cause Sony’s are not known for all day power so to have a extra one on hand is good. And I always go with manufacturers brand over generic. Just less problems that way

I bought this battery because I noticed the battery that came with the camera would drain quickly. I carry this as an extra battery just in case the original battery dies but have not to use it yet.

I highly recommend to shop around for batteries. You can get 3rd party batteries that perform the exact same for a fraction of the price. Do your homework! Other than that the Sony battery performs as any stock battery should.

I own the sony A7SII it suck these batteries dry with 40 minutes of continuing recording. I wish the camera could use larger batteries. On wedding shoot I use 7 of these and have not had any issues

We love our new Sony mirrorless camera. The battery life is a bit short so we found it a necessity to have a back up battery available in order to be safe during our 2 week adventure in South America

The Sony a7 series cameras devour batteries like a whale shark devours krill. This is expected given the cameras relative small form factor. --You have more than one memory card right!? So stack up on extra batteries! Your pockets/camera bag won't mind.

Love the original Sony batteries because its dependable. I tried substitute batteries, they are good too but will die unexpectedly although it shows battery remaining is still good.

I have tried to save money in the past by buying 'non-Sony' versions of this battery and have been disappointed every time. I now buy the real Sony product. Got it at a great sale price.

Love Sony cameras but if your camera takes these batteries you’ll need several if you shoot a lot or aren’t able to charge. I also have camera that takes fz1000 batteries and they last much longer.

Use this as an extra battery if traveling…see no difference from original…easy to charge.

I use my camera a lot and I'm always running the battery out. Having an extra battery is a must. I recommend getting the brand name battery rather than a generic one.

Bought a second battery because the camera takes such fast pictures, the battery doesn't last that long. I think a second battery is a must using the Sony mirrorless camera. Great camera, though!
