    Just wish battery life was longer soon in and out uses quite a bit but I always carry extra and their not heavy plus I have a car charger

    The original Sony batteries work without issue. Why take a chance on third party batteries failing when you need them.

    I love the size and weight of the W type battery, but thats all offset by having to carry extra batteries. I use the vertical grip, which holds 2 W size batteries. After being in the field for a few of hours, I frequently saw the batteries run completely down. I could not shoot all day, even with the dual battery setup. So, I carried 4 batteries - just to be sure.

    Jeese,the sony a7rii eats these up fast,in my opinion..need at least 3 or 4 of these to shoot all day photos...

    Cost is higher than what i think battery should be but worth going with Sony vs nonfactory option. Should have at least one back up battery.
