Got this battery because the sales associate made a mistake and told me only one battery came with the Sony a7 s ii. Two actually come with the camera but I am glad that I have the third because the amount of shooting I do it is much needed. Takes forever to charge with the wall outlet but is much quicker with the usb.

Whether it's Cars or Cameras, you should always pack a spare. Never loose a shot because you ran out of juice. This battery is the original SONY replacement. Battery percentage functions perfectly. I recommend one spare at least, maybe two if your out on a day long hike or just like to admire your photos on the camera screen.

Not sure if it is worth it to buy the sony batteries or not but I like the name brand reliability.

I found that the Sony line of batteries keep their charge longer than other brands. The NP-FW50 is no exception.

It's a great batter, small size, but it's been around forever now and sony really needs to upgrade it for higher capacity.

Its always nice to have back ups of batteries and memory cards. I received 2 extra batteries since there was a deal for a free one and I denied the camera bag for yet another battery. The A7ii tends to go through batteries often so I figured it would be much more useful. I'm glad I did since I can go on long trips and not worry too much
