We're so sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you. The SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers are only compatible with the HT-A5000 and HT-A7000. Unfortunately, pairing these speakers to a different soundbar is not supported.

A recommended option is to add Sony HT-A7000 or HT-A5000 soundbar to use with your TV. The speakers automatically connect to the HT-A7000 or HT-A5000 soundbar when you power them up, so you can enjoy cinema-quality surround sound right away.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. We regret to hear if you find the volume of the rear speaker not as loud as you would have liked and it hasn't performed to your standards. Allow us to help you and turn your experience around. If the audio coming through is low or you are not hearing any audio from the wireless rear speakers for the speaker system, there are a couple of items that will need to be checked:

• The Rear speaker plays surround sound as part of the multi-channel sound or processed from the 2-channel sound. However, because of the characteristics of the rear speaker, the sound may be low depending on the playback source.
• Depending on the combination of the setting of SOUND FIELD and input signal, surround sound processing may not work effectively. The surround effect may be subtle, depending on the program or disc.
• Set the night mode to off then check the wireless connection status in [Settings] - [Wireless Speaker Settings] - [Wireless speaker status check] on the app screen.
• Advanced Auto Volume function is not suitable for listening to music. You can disable this feature.
• To ensure that you are getting the most out of your HT-A5000, make sure to run Sound Field Optimization so that the soundbar can calibrate its performance to your environment, and that it sounds like it was engineered to be in your room. You can also set the speaker distance from your listening position and their output level, etc. to obtain the best possible surround sound. For this, you may refer to the guidelines below:

If there is a device nearby that generates electromagnetic waves, such as a wireless LAN or a microwave oven in use, locate the rear speakers and the sound bar apart from that device. If there is an obstacle between the sound bar and the rear speakers, move or remove the obstacle. Locate the sound bar and the rear speakers as close as possible.

We are truly sorry to hear that you are experiencing connectivity issues with your SARS3S speakers for the second time. We understand how frustrating it is to have them work perfectly for a few days only to stop connecting, and we apologize for the disappointment this has caused.

To help resolve this, we recommend ensuring there are no physical obstructions or other wireless devices interfering with the signal between the speakers and your soundbar. We also suggest disconnecting the speakers from the power source for 3 minutes before attempting to reconnect. To ensure sound is being output from both the speaker system and the optional rear speakers, press the IMMERSIVE AE to turn on the Immersive Audio Enhancement function, the speaker system upmixes audio signals, and sound is output from all speakers. For this, you may refer to the guidelines below:

• Depending on the combination of the setting of SOUND FIELD and input signal, surround sound processing may not work effectively. The surround effect may be subtle, depending on the program or disc.
• To play multi-channel audio, check the digital audio output setting on the device connected to the speaker system. For details, refer to the operating instructions of the connected device.

While we're glad that you like the incredible audio, e are sorry to hear you're having some connection issues with the unit. Your feedback is extremely important to us and is very much appreciated. If no sound is output from the optional rear speakers, move the rear speaker to a location near a compatible model so that the power indicator on the rear speaker lights in green.

Install the speaker system, the optional rear speakers and subwoofer at a distance of 1.5 m (5 ft) or more from a wireless LAN router, etc. The SA-RS3S connects wirelessly to the soundbar speaker or AV receiver via an RF connection. It may be improved by setting [Setup] - [Advanced Settings] - [Speaker Settings] - [Wireless Speaker Settings] - [Wireless Playback Quality] to [Connection].

Set [Setup] - [Advanced Settings] - [Speaker Settings] - [Wireless Speaker Settings] - [RF Channel] to [Off], then set to [On. Also, you can try to perform a factory reset on the soundbar then connect it to Wi-Fi and do software update on the soundbar to help resolve the issue for optimum performance.
