I wasn't looking to rattle the windows -- I just wanted a better sound than my new TV was giving me and this worked very well. It sounds great!

I use with a Sony Hta-5000 and it's fantastic. Sub volume goes up to 12, but I only need to put it at 3. I live in an apartment and the bass is perfect for a medium sized living room.

It was great in our bedroom with clear dialog, but not so much in our open family. The A5000 with the SW3 did add a punch on the lower end, but that's it. May be the additional wireless surround speakers (RS3S) can over come that issue.

In my living room, it sounded like a toy. I returned it promptly and got one with real RMS wattage. Now it feels like we are having an earthquake!
