I think most people will be satisfied with this.

The subwoofer offer excellent bass sound with clarity and definition. Auto power off is an added plus as my old one needed manual turn on/off. Doesn't get down to the lowest frequencies but will definitely shake the windows. Paired with the HT-a9 which its a mind-blowing speaker setup. A little on the expensive side for an ok subwoofer.

However, we are sorry if you feel that it is a little bit weak when watching movies. If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. You can check the subwoofer sound by emitting the test tone. Calibrating the speaker system using the sound field optimization and experiment with different sound modes to find the one that you like best may also help improved the sound. You may also select the "Cinema Mode " designed to provide a more immersive experience when watching movies.
