Udder disappointment

Half the time im wondering if its even on it only picks up the loudest scenes and if the volume isnt turned up to atleast 35 it produces next to no sound. This is with the sub volume turned to max and night mode off. I have been a life long sony fan NOT ANYMORE ill be returning everything Sony Bravia 8 Bar 9 and Sw5. Ps Bar 9 has very poor atmos sound feild and next to no mid range as. Sony if you read this you need to add a adjustable eq to adjust all frequency ranges. For now all prospective buyer I would highly recommend looking at a different product. One other thing if you live in a rural area and dont have standard internet this thing is a complete pain to connect to the bar 9. It only connects through wifi! It would not work with the router on my hotspot router/ modem and had to buy a separate router just to get it to connect. Once again I would recommend to stay away from this setup unless you love to be frustrated and disappointed. One last note the selling point why I went with sony was because of the center link feature. Turns out this feature is pointless waste of time. Sorry for the negative review but im beyond disappointed after spending over 4000$ on everything was expecting to be wowed but its just not the case.

This is definitely not the news that we would like to hear. Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. To ensure that you are getting the most out of your BRAVIA Theater Bar 9, make sure to run Sound Field Optimization so that the soundbar can calibrate its performance to your environment, and that it sounds like it was engineered to be in your room.
For the bass sound quality, this usually depends on the size of the listening room, and the location that the subwoofer is placed in the room. To enhance your overall bass sound listening experience, follow the steps below:
• Press SW volume + or BASS + on the remote control of a compatible model to increase the subwoofer volume.
• Set the night mode to off. For details, refer to the Operating Instructions supplied with a compatible model.
• If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. You can check the subwoofer sound by emitting the test tone.

poor bass from the sa-sw5
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the whole package. X95K TV, A7000 soundbar, SA-SW5 sub, SA-RS3S rear speakers, XBP-800. TV and soundbar are great. Paired the SA-SW5 and SA-RS3S to the soundbar but the bass from the sub is pretty poor even when set to max volume for the sub. for a 300w sub it should shake the room but doesnt. I've tested watching a 4k disk, streaming music from different sources on the tv and from mobile devices to the soundbar with very high bass but just doesnt thump like it should. Overall, not very happy with the decision to go with this integrated solution. Will probably end up returning it and going with something else like Sonos or Bose
