Turned up to 7 it vibrates my chair 9' away. Sony knocked it out of the park with this one. It's very expensive but again, you get what you pay for.

Instantly connected, no fuss. Bass hits pretty heavy. Not room shaking but very nice feel when it hits the lows. A must buy if you get the HT-A9.

Sounds like a sub should. Had to pause my TV during a movie rain and thunder scene to make sure it wasn't raining. Felt like the rain and thunder were all around me. Low rumbles and big booms were spot on. Fills a very large open concept room no problem.
