The sound and noise canceling is ok. Issue is that people barely could hear me, even if I put mic closer to my mouth. I thought listening would be much better.

Sony did an amazing job with these headphones! These are really quite good! Very easily connected to my iPhone via Bluetooth without needing any instruction. With the buds well seated in my ear, there are great highs and lows and fantastic clarity. Fantastic sound quality - Kelly Clarkson and P!NK rocked my inner ear!! Turn up the volume, the sound remains true. The fit is extremely comfortable, however like others, I find the controller tends to pull down on the left side and has pulled the left bud from my ear. I don’t want to have to use the controls on my phone when I’m out on my walk or run; my phone stays in my pocket. I should be able to use the controller without issue. Although when used, the controller easily responds to my finger press to change volume, NC->ambient->off, etc. The noise canceling feature worked well for me, but I tend not to use it because I want to be able to hear those ambient sounds - like a car horn or someone yelling “look out!” Actually, I think it’s illegal to have both buds in and noice cancelled in California, but I’m not sure. On an airplane I would find that feature useful. It doesn’t completely cancel out the sound... it sounds muffled, sort of like Charlie Brown’s parents talking in the background. Overall very good, comfortable & terrific sounding in-ear headphones less 1 star because I sometimes have to work to keep that left bud in place.

Upon opening the box and trying these on, I found that the earbud tips were a bit too large for my ears. Thankfully Sony has included multiple sizes and I was able to find a good fit. These do snap on, so refer to the instructions on how to change them as to not cause damage. They feel quite comfortable as opposed to wedging something in my ears. The SP600N still uses the Sony Headphones app to adjust EQ settings, noise cancelling levels, and some other tweaks. Unfortunately, the app lacks custom EQ settings that are available in higher end Sony Bluetooth products. With that said, Sony offers about 6 or 7 sound EQ presets to switch between to fit your tastes. Sony has certainly upped their game on earbud sound quality as I have found these to have an impressive sound range and fairly clean sound with only a tiny bit of distortion when pushed (max volume, bass all the way up). The Noise Cancelling is on par with many of their current Bluetooth offerings, only usurped by their higher end full headphones. I am typing this review while sitting on my ground floor balcony, next to several AC units running and they don't intrude on music listening whatsoever. The SP600N features a battery that lasts about 6 hours, but have to be recharged via a USB connection. Overall, I am happy with these and could wear them all day if only the battery lasted that long.

Sony - SP600N Sports Wireless Noise Canceling In-E

I've been testing out these Sports Wireless Noise Canceling headphones for the last few days and I must say that they have impressed me more than I expected. Sound quality is crystal clear and loud. They sit comfortably in my ear without sliding out or hurting like other headsets I've tested out recently. Connecting them via Bluetooth is simple and easy. These are great for those that like to go out for a run or a nice walk; nice not to have to worry about cords/wires getting in the way while out running or walking. Call quality was also great. Charging took about an hour and a half or so and it was good to go for about 6 hours or so which is enough to get me through the day, although there are other headsets with a longer battery life. My only gripe which is certainly not a deal-breaker would be that I wished the cord was a tad longer. However, I love this headset and would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice reliable and comfortable headset for working out at the gym or going for a run.

    Good Sound, Disappointing ANC

I found the sound on these to be very good but am very disappointed in the active noise cancellation. I did have to play around with the ample supply of various-sized ear tips to find one that seals well. I usually take the smaller tips, but this time the biggest worked, as they sit more at the top of the ear canal and seal externally rather than extending into the ear. Even with a good fit, however, the noise cancellation was not in the same league as the Bose products. I mowed my lawn while listening to a podcast and was able to hear well over the mower, but not to the extent I can with my other headphones. Pairing with Android is simple thanks to NFC. There's also an app that helps fine-tune the sound and also lets you set the noise cancellation to let in voices, perfect for working out or biking. They are well built and seem impervious to my sweat while working on the yard.

Did I mention how bad these are? Wow! NO ONE could understand me AT ALL using them for the phone. I had to always switch to the phone speaker. I mean there was nothing good about these. I paid over $100 and if I had not received a refund, I would have thrown them away. Trash.
