Bought this for my husband for his workouts in house. He loves the sound and portability. Set up to Bluetooth was easy. Has a rich sound for the price.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this Sony Portable Bluetooth Speaker. I was thinking this is a very small speaker and sceptical if it would have good sound. After charging it, pairing it to my iPhone and playing some music, I was amazed at the great sound and very rich bass tones it produces. Truly a great buy for me to use at home, traveling with my iPhone, iPad or computer etc., to have a full and rich sound Vs. just the speakers in the devices. I can recommend this as a must have if you are seeking a portable bluetooth speaker.

Really good bass, quality is good, volume is pretty decent for the size. Mainly bought it for the waterproof part, good use for the shower.

These speakers were replacements for some from several years ago. Great improvements in sound, battery life, and they are waterproof!

This speaker has been great, so portable, long lasting, and the sound is very good (to my untrained ear). The wrist strap is a nice added feature.

This is my second time buying this product. The first time I bought it was for my mother as a gift and the second for myself. I liked the sound and strength at first, but the bass is very strong! Depending on your choice of music the bass can shake the actual speaker and cause it to vibrate on the surface. I also noticed when the battery power gets low the speaker will turn itself down and start to blink, letting you know it's time to recharge. When this happens, hook it up to the charge and restart it. The volume should return to full. It took me a minute to figure this out. For the volume and strength, it is well for the price. Though sometimes the bass rattling can be a nuisance.

I purchased this bluetooth speaker because I was due for an upgrade. The two bluetooth speakers I previously had were old and would not hold a charge anymore. Looked on Best Buy's website for bluetooth speakers and this was one of the first ones I looked at. Picked this up on sale for $40 and it was a terrific value. The sound and bass are amazing for such a small portable package. I've purchased other Sony audio products in the past and have not been disappointed!! This is a great buy!!

I bought this to listen to music while out on my paddleboard. I was worried that the small size wouldn't produce enough sound to fill the wide open space of the ocean. I was wrong. I bungee corded it down to the front my board and took it out on to the ocean and the sound is amazing. I was also pleasantly surprised when a big wave rolled me on my way in and the speaker fell off - that's when I discovered that it floats! I had it tethered just in case, but its a great surprise feature.

Bought this and should have realized, based on the size of the box, that it had no wall outlet power source. It is charged only via a USB, and I wanted to place it permanently in my kitchen to play music from my Sony mp3. I don't want to have to think about if it's charged each time I need sound and I don't keep a computer in my kitchen. Plus I called Sony, gave them the model number of my mp3 and they are unable to tell me if it's compatible. Had to return it. If your needs are otherwise, it's compact, attractive, and sounds great.
