Then it simply stopped working. I could not turn it on, and could not get it to charge. Just dead. I just got a replacement and am crossing fingers that it works better.

Designed to be ultra-portable, you can easily wrap your hand around it, toss it in your bag, or even let it dangle from your wrist (a bit awkwardly). Water-proofing completes the mobile packaging. All of this confirms that it's targeting the 'take-it-with-you' demographic. It paired immediately and the sound was very good for such a small speaker. I was pleased to see that it could take full volume without any distortion and maintain plenty of punch. So, the key issue is how you plan to use your portable Sony bluetooth speaker. If you need a small, bluetooth speaker for more stationary uses, I would recommend checking out Sony's XB21 speaker. It is a bump-up in overall sound quality and is currently available for a similar price. However, if you want to take your music with you - in as small a speaker package as possible - without sacrificing decent sound, this is the one to get.

Mine didn’t turn on unless plugged in, which I thought it was supposed to hold a charge. Still looking into that . Works great otherwise.

It was simple to set up and easy to use. The sound is good as well. It has met my expectations. I use it to add relaxation to my bath and calming music to fall asleep. I highly recommend!

Not the Sony quality I'm use to

Looking for a waterproof speaker. Have had Sony before and always been happy until now. The wife has an inexpensive ILive speaker that sounds better... Too bad, the size and strap work good. Just not enough full sound.
