Great sound out of little speaker. Worth every penny.

For the money....good unit............. Has quality sound

I bought this speaker as a gift for my sister. She absolutely loved it! She said it was so cute and just what she wanted. :) FYI: I did not use it, so I rated it as average ease of use. It might be much easier to use.

Needs a louder volume for older people. like the color

The speaker is ok for small non open areas, like a bed room sound quality is good. The bass isn't loud its moderate. In open areas its Not good, sound is not loud enough to be at a park or the beach. Recommend the jbl clip speaker for outdoor activities.

I got one of these to use when working with my laptop at home and was amazed by the sound from such a little speaker. I take it with me during business trips to play music in the room and use with my laptop. Easy pairing pretty much right out of the box. The bluetooth works up to about 8 metres which is fine for most purposes and if you're using it with a phone it should be more than enough. I would prefer if it had WiFi to allow longer range portability. I tend to keep them attached by the USB lead provided but on battery they'll last all day in normal use before needing recharging. Purchase if you travel for business and if you just want to take sound with you without using headphones.

In my household we own about a dozen or so portable, wireless, bluetooth speakers of various brands and qualities. And while this Sony SRS-XB12 is physically the smallest of the bunch, it is definitely not the least in quality. For the money, you get a decent sound from a very small speaker. The SRS-XB12 connected effortlessly to my Android smartphone and later my iPad. It performs well throughout its volume range. Although its max volume is not room filling, it does a good job filling small spaces like a car or small bedroom. It has great tonal quality, with crisp, clean highs and a decent low range. However, I think Sony may be overreaching a bit by marketing this fine little speaker as having extra bass. Great sound, just not the extra bass some of my other bluetooth speakers can attain. Because of its low price, if you're looking for a decent first speaker as a gift for a younger child or grandchild, then this one will be appreciated. However, a teenager or college age student may be a little disappointed in grandma's gift selection. Overall, I can recommend this speaker with only one reservation. If it's to be a gift, then you'll need to evaluate whether or not it's enough of a speaker for the intended recipient.

This a great product. Also, I would specifically point out how well Best Buy did with the procurement of my order. The new environment of shopping online and picking items up curbside was perfectly executed during my experience.

Could have better instructions but works and sounds great

It has a Decent Sound and Decent Bass but can be not as loud as most think. Also the 16 hr Battery life is FAKE NEWS and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. It only lasts maybe 4 1/2 or 5 hours if that. Why say it has a 16 hr Battery life and dont.

Nothing special, def can get more sound Out of other speakers in the same price range. It’s got a small compact size. Other than that, look for something louder. Does not get loud: if you want you music very very low and clear than sure buy this.
