love it just the right size when you pack to go places

The Sony XB12 speaker is great for its size. It's a great little speaker that I have used when I am studying or out in the garage. It's really easy to setup, so no need to go into that. The first thing that I did was to charge it of course. The battery lasts a while, so I get to enjoy my music without worrying too much about the battery. When I don't feel like carrying around my other slightly larger portable speaker, I just grab the Sony XB12 and go. This is not to say that you should expect incredible sound from the Sony XB12. It is a small portable speaker, so don't expect a very high sound volume. To me, it's just what I need when I want to listen to music while in the garage, or when I am working on my homework. The audio quality is crisp and clear for such a small size speaker. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

This is my second Sony speaker. My family like the first one in orange color and now my wife urged me to buy another one. What a great product that sweet music and strong bass sound come from!

It’s a good speaker to have around when you’re on a public beach, when you’re inside, and maybe outside if you’re riding a bike. But it’s not loud enough if you’re planning to have a gathering and everyone wants to hear music, or to listen to it from a far distance. But

A friend needed something to pair to his cellphone to listen to nighttime meditation chants and calls. (He tore too many bluetooth headsets as he slept.) This gift did the trick! He is a grateful recipient!

I purchased this for my son, so he had something to listen to at work. He tells me the product works great and he listens to it every single day. He also said it charges very fast.

This device works exactly as advertised and has exceptional quality. Very pleased with this purchase and actually bought a 2nd one for another computer located upstairs.

I bought this speaker for my daughter for her birthday. When my husband saw it, he decided we should keep it and get my daughter another present. Needless to say, we are enjoying this speaker at our house.

I bought this to play music at work. I load a truck at UPS. If you are in an office or indoors with little competing sound this speaker will probably be ok. Unfortunately there is just not enough volume with this speaker to be heard over all the equipment sound at my warehouse job. The JBL Charge 3 that I had was fantastic and could be easily heard without even maxing out the volume. With this speaker I had it at max volume at the speaker and phone and still couldn't hear it all the time. To add insult to injury, after about 5 hours of play the speaker starts playing at lower volume. Presumably this is to save on battery life. I have` to put the thing on the charger after about 5 hours or I can't hear it at all. Again, it's in a noisy environment, I get it, but there just isn't enough oomph for this speaker for my needs.

Good things come in small packages. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a Sony Bluetooth wireless speaker. It was a great gift that BestBuy had left on the shelf. I got lucky;

This little speaker is amazing. The Bluetooth range is great i pair it with my phone and i take it around the house with out any problems. Overall i highly recommend it

I bought this to be a satellite speaker when listening to Amazon music outside, unfortunately it won't pair with the Echo. The sound was nice when I paired it to my phone, but in the end I returned it.

It works well for streaming music but the sound quality is not as good for something like Zoom, the online meeting app. I love the size and the fact that it won't be harmed if it gets wet.

I purchased the Anker sound core select then this one. Sony speaker sound and base doesn't compare to the Anker speaker. This one is fine for small places but I expected more because it was a Sony. Ok for a bedroom or office but I like my music loud this doesn't do it.

Generally, when speakers boast enhanced bass performance, one would expect to hear the bass really come through. Now, given the size of this speaker, I did temper my expectations, and they still weren’t met. What I did notice was, this speaker did a fantastic job with the vocals and highs tones; the drums and percussion were nicely reproduced as well. But the bass left quite a bit to be desired. I have a few tracks where the bottom really drops, that I always use to evaluate the bass response from speakers, and this speaker was sorely lacking. I don’t hate this speaker, I just don’t love it. If Sony didn’t boast its enhanced bass response, I would have given it an additional star. But in my opinion, the bass boost was overstated. For a few extra bucks, there are better options out there.

Purchased for elderly lady with ancient computer and hearing issues. It helps her listen to church services as her computer internal speaker was very poor. Much better now.
