Posted .Hi Rainman, We are so glad to hear that you are enjoying your XB12 with EXTRA BASS. This unit operates within a range of about 10 m (about 32 ft). But, to ensure you're getting the best Bluetooth connection, place the speaker and the Bluetooth device within 1 m (3.2 ft) of each other. Also, make sure there's no interference from other devices such as a person, metal, or wall between the speaker and Bluetooth device. Hope this helps! -Sam
