Though the price point is great The sound quality is pretty average. I originally purchased because I wanted to be able to wirelessly link three of them. Once I bought them I did more research online and found out you can only link two at a time.

Bought this speaker on Dec 13, 2020 and now its Oct 19, 2023. The whole time I've had this it has never skipped a beat. Thrown and drowned in water this thing is built like russian grizzly. To me Sony has always been making awesome sounding speaker drivers. Battery life is excellent relative to its size. They stopped making these cause the new model's out and I'm pretty sure that'll work just the same.

Sound is Not so good on big open spaces like the beach

I was disappointed that there wasn’t more bass coming out of the speaker; however, the sound is better than no speaker at all. Thought about returning it but it would have been too much of a hassle and/or health risk going into the store.

Really surprised at the positive reviews. The sound is very crisp and clear but quite low in terms of volume. At volumes loud enough for the speaker to be heard (just) a few feet away, the sound is so bright that it's a bit tiring after just an hour or so. No bass to speak of. Even at the sale price ($35), I don't think it's a particularly good deal. I def wouldn't pay full price for it. I'm going to return it, but the return instructions state that the product must be returned w/ a "power cable" and an "AC adapter," otherwise money will be subtracted. The thing is that the speaker ONLY comes with a USB cable. Bizarre.

I like to use an external speaker out by the pool or patio area. This speaker was nice size, but it just did not have the power I thought it would. At full volume it was hard to hear and not very crisp & clear. Okay for the money.

Bought it in March 13/21 love everything about it until last week Dec 20 the power couldn't turn on, full charge, not even a year and it stop working, so disappoint it.

Had it for about a month and now the power button doesn’t work, so i cant turn it on.

I bought this to replace my other speaker because the battery life was super but it is way too quiet. I have to have my phone up all the way to really hear the music and that’s at full battery life. Unfortunately I was ill when the return window ran out or I would’ve taken it back. Do not get it unless you desire to use it for travel and don’t need it to be super loud.

I bought it while it was on sale and the quality is fairly good, but the battery life is lacking and the sound isn't as loud as I'd want it to be. It's not bad though, I think I only paid around $30

I bought this for my husband because it was compact, water proof and he could use it to speak through his phone. But it really wasn’t loud enough for working outside. I returned the speaker.

Had these for my computer. Bought two, but they didn't hold a charge long and continued to have to be relinked every use. Returned them and bought a single soundbar for the computer.

I think you would be better off buying the jbl go 3 which i did i bought both and i decided on the jbl necause it eas louder and its feels way for durable.

This little waterproof speaker was exactly what I didn't know I needed. It's well made, has awesome battery life, and a nice brushed rubber finish with a screen/protector over the speaker itself, keeping sand and other things out. I was expecting it to use a USB C connector since most newer battery powered products use that, but if you're like me you still have lots of Micro-USB laying around as well. The speaker did include a cable but no wall adapter, which seems to be common. I wish it was stereo sound for the price, but it definitely booms for how small it is. Also according to Sony if you get two of these they will pump stereo sound. Summary: Great little speaker for use in wet and sandy/dusty environments. Sacrifices some sound quality to be waterproof, but it's a worthwhile trade-off. Would recommend for small, portable and battery life.

Died after just 1 year of use. Was great when I first bought it but it wont connect to my wifi or phone any longer.

We have had the speaker for a month now and the only issue is that it should be louder. We use it out by the pool mostly and it is fine but is not as loud as our old JBL.

When I purchase this I was under the impression that I could have more than one Bluetooth device work in at the same time I was Understanding incorrectly
