This little unit is perfect for those who just need to hear music and not necessarily "experience" it. I upgraded to the JBL Charge 5 because I needed the bass, volume and sound clarity. There was nothing wrong with this unit, however. It is amazing for the price. It won't blow you away like the Charge 5 will but you pay for what you get.

This thing has AMAZING sound quality, really decent battery life and all around bass

iPhones and iPads have relatively low volume levels which can’t really be heard in any public setting, like at a party (for music) or a large room (for music, podcast, etc). With super fast setup for through Bluetooth, this Sony speaker provides clear sound and adequate volume levels for most inside room and outdoor environments. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time on a single charge. As well, you can sync a second speaker to get even better audio sound. For the price I paid at 30% off, I am extremely satisfied with it.

Very happy with this product. FYI - it was under our Christmas tree and had sat there wet when we over watered the tree. It must have been more than a week and we did not notice the box was socking wet. The speaker was unaffected it worked perfectly. We ordered 2 and we are so happy with it's portability and durability. The sound is also fantastic.

I really like these speakers. For the price, I was thrilled with the sound quality. The only reason I gave them a four star rating is because the instructions were not very clear. There was no text, just pictures, so you had to guess what each step was by looking a a drawing. I especially had difficulty when I tried to add a second speaker to the first one. It took me three days of trying and I still don't what my husband did to get them linked.

So I use this to play music at work, as well as around the house. It works great in the shower...there is a little rubber flap that lets you cover the exposed electronics. The bass and volume are great, and the bluetooth pause and play function works just fine. At work I play it for long periods of time running off battery power and using the line in. After a few hours of constant use, instead of powering down, the speaker just diminishes the volume. This is not a flaw, just a way to save power.

I went with this speaker for work because of the low price. This speaker is small so it’s easy to just throw in a bag to take with you. Don’t let the size fool you, it is definitely louder than I thought it would be. There is a con, a full charge only lasts me about 5 hours before the sound lowers drastically. I carry a charger pack with me so it’s an easy fix.
