This is a great little speaker. I purchased the white model. After about a week the bass went out. But I liked the sound so much I exchanged it for a different one, and purchased the extended warranty plan. It's easy to pair and sounds great!

We gave the speaker to our 15 year old grandson for Christmas. He takes it everywhere he goes. It pairs easily with his apple phone. For a small speaker it has a big sound. It sounds great!! Buy this speaker, you won’t be disappointed!

Over a year now and me n my kids are still using this unit almost daily! Fishing trips on the boat, picnics or just at home this unit has made playing music through our phones via blue tooth 100 time more enjoyable!

This speaker sounds great and picks up transmission from devices a good distance away. It also pairs easily with those devices. A little more standby power time would have been nice, but I picked the price point for a reason.

I was really amazed at the sound I got from this little speaker. I was getting tired of the poor music sound quality from the ipad and had a gift card so purchased it on a bit of a whim. Man was I pleased with my decision.

Only reason for 4 Star is the volume will not go all the way up when battery is less than 50%. Sound is great, the connection to blue tooth is great and easy. Also, it has good range staying connected I was about 50 feet away and still played great!

Waterproofing works well. Great Speaker for in-shower listening or at the beach. Allows the user to adjust lows, mids, and highs. Party booster is kind of useless and unnecessary, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the speaker

I bought this on sale and using some of my best buy points and now I have to share it with everybody in my house, they all want to borrow it, I will have to buy several more at Christmas so I don't have to keep looking for mine.

As always, Sony speakers are a fantastic value for the price. The SBS-XR21 speaker is a great speaker! It has great volume, pairs easily with the Bluetooth. It is one of the best speakers that I purchased recently.

I recently purchased an Echo Spot. It's a decent product, but its speaker is a bit limited. I purchased this Sony speaker to boost the audio when playing music with the Spot. It does a nice job and the bluetooth connection was easy to set up.

This speaker has the sound quality of others many times its size, it looks and feels worth much more than its selling price... and because I got it on sale, I can't think of any nicer present I could have given myself.

This is a nice little extra speaker for the money. It is wireless and easily set up to a device. I bought it to use with my ipod. The sound is good. I wouldn't say it is top notch but perfectly fine for in-home listening informally.

I love to listen to music in the mornings, and with Sony, you know. you're getting a high quality, durable speaker. The sound and bass is good and definitely a good buy for a Bluetooth speaker.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas, so that I could get mine back. I have the older version of the same speaker. The clarity of this one is ten times better, it also looks much nicer. The price is phenomenal

What a great sounding little speaker. You will not be dissapointed with the performance this unit gives you. Perfect for that next beach day, hang out by the pool, or locker room jam before the big game. Highly recommended

The depth of sound coming out of this unique design is impressive. It is a little large to carry in my computer backpack. When paired with a new iPhone XS or late model iPad Pro, the sound is worth the space it takes up

The qualify of the sound from this small speaker is very impressive, considering its size. First time I'd used something like this, and am very glad to have purchased it. The sales personnel were helpful as well.

Sony products are amazing. Sound is crisp and the Bluetooth connection is easy. I kinda wish when I try to connect to the speaker it automatically turns on. Instead you have to manually press the button, which is kinda tedious.

I'm going to review both the Sony SRS-XB21 and SRS-XB41 since I picked them up together and it will make sense when you read the review. At first glance the new Sony SRS-XB series speakers are just another set of Bluetooth enabled speakers but there is more to them when you dig a little deeper. Not only are they Bluetooth capable but you can also can connect via NFC or by AUX input. Best used with it's companion apps: For the both units download the Sony Music Center app which allows you to select playlists, change sound modes or even change lighting effects. Controls are conveniently located on the top of the units with all ports and a couple of extra buttons located behind a rubber panel on the rear. They are both waterproof, washable and dustproof so they can even be immersed in water (as long as you have the cover over the back access panel). Being waterproof makes it a great choice for outdoor use such as camping, hiking, the beach or at the park. The sound is impressive. I especially like extra bass on my speakers and these don't disappoint. Both sport Live Sound wich has angled speakers which provide 3D like sound. One of the really cool features is you can string up to 100 SRS-XB series speakers together wirelessly to create a "Wireless Party Chain". There are a couple of other features that would are more aimed at the younger generation so this old guy can take them or leave them. The lighting feature is interesting and can create a party atmosphere especially if multiple units are linked in the Wireless Party Chain. Both units also support a "Party Booster" mode which, once enabled, will allow you to make different sounds such as a scratch, snare, kick drum or a cowbell... because we all know you need more cowbell. The XB41 goes one step further with the help of the Fiestable app for your smartphone. Using the app you can control the lighting and add DJ effects. Behind the rear access panel are the AUX input, DC charging port via micro-USB and in the case of the SRS-XB41 there is a separate DC charging jack. There are a couple of buttons to be able to connect multiple speakers and turn on the lighting effects. Battery life is impressive at up to 24 hours with lighting off so you can enjoy a full day of use between charges. In closing both speakers have a lot to offer outside of the party gimmicks. Sound is amazing so that alone makes it worth the look and add the ability to link more speakers for a party or even just a backyard barbeque makes it stand above other bluetooth speakers. Pick up either or both and there is even an intermediate model the SRS-XB31 which I haven't tried but all three can work together in any combination. A huge plus!
