I bought this for a friend because I own one and I love it. The sound is crisp even when played loud. I wish the battery would last longer. Great speaker.

Sony has upgraded XB21 into XB22 this summer. I would say there are no many differences but the design. Which is more stylish. I love the sound quality this series. Clear yet powerful. No regret to buy this!

I bought this for my brother to use whe he rides. He liked the bass to it and when he straps it on to his bike he turns on the light which helps make him even more visible while riding at night.

I reviewed a newer version of this product (SRS-XB23). The newer product has a couple new features, but this is a powerful clear speaker that has fun functions and sounds.

I do not hear well. \I use this speaker for my tv.It is on a table beside my recliner.I can hear it with normal volume. I would have to turn up the tv speakers and disturb others in the house.

Review ------ BUILD QUALITY Its got an excellent build quality, its IP67 rated which means, its dust-proof and waterproof. it has got a decent weight to it and it can easily withstand a few falls. The Buttons are well placed and look durable. I think the difference between this model and t he XB21 is that this one stands up vertically and the lighting . CONNECTIVITY I was able to connect to my phone actually walk around through out my 3000 sqft house and still not get disconnected. I think that is quiet impressive. It also has NFC capability for connecting for music. SOUND QUALITY The Bass even without the EXTRA BASS ON still sounds very boomy and not muddled. Highs and Mids are also very clear. I was able to compare it to my Harmon Kardon Invoke and the sound was better on the SONY as compared to the Harmon Kardon. I also like the lighting which can actually be controlled with the Music Center App. It is a must download to know the battery level and to be able to control illumination. There are some of the features i do not use like the party booster which produces sound when you tap on the speaker. i think its useful if you have multiple speakers and folks are dancing around holding one in hand and tapping on the speaker. I like the fact that the speaker tells you the battery level once you push the battery button. Basically the speaker is competing with Jbl Flip 4 and i listened to both and they kind of sound the same. I like the lighting on this one better.

I got it for my mom set it up for her on her phone and it works like a charm. Don't have to worry about showing her how to do anything it just connects right away and play her music.

Impressive speaker for its size. Its smaller than I expected which makes it very mobile, and since its advertised as waterproof and dustproof we got this speaker for taking to the lake/beach. But don't let its size fool you, it puts out a lot of sound and very impressive bass. The speaker I have is black with a white light that flashes in sync with the music coming out of it. At first it seemed kind of gimmicky to me, but honestly its also kind of cool. Battery life has been great so far, over 9 hours and still playing strong. I plan on getting more since you can link them all together using Sony's app, but I'll probably get the next size up, the XB32 for our backyard patio. Overall a great Bluetooth speaker.

Bought this for myself and love it. Great sound with TV programming. Only complaint is buttons on top to increase/decrease sound are unlit which makes it difficult to adjust in the dark.

Very happy with this product. Easy to set up and easy operation. Sound is very good. My only complaint at all would be the round shape makes it a bit easy to roll off of surfaces.

Great speaker and great value. This little guy puts out a lot of noise and it can be party chain linked to other Sony XB speakers creating a nice easy way to setup a whole home speaker system.

Got this for my son bday, and its loud i can hear it in my room with the door closed over my TV, smh got this for him not thinking it was this loud lol nice job sony

I was trying to find a small speaker and this was the smallest one that could play my music without popping. With the Black Friday pricing it was the perfect pricing I got one for a gift.

This speaker is good, nice quality of the materials and easy to setup the sound quality inside of house is nice but when you use outside the quality change complete. Per same price you can found a better opinion.

I’ve had a Bose sound link 2 for years. This is a great speaker for the price much less than my Bose and sound is awesome. Pairing two different phones was a bit of a pain.

Our children bought this for their Dad for Father’s Day. He LOVES it and uses it almost every day. The sound is clear and works well with his Samsung tablet. A great buy at a great price!!!

Great looking speaker. It has cool lights but luckily you can turn this feature off so you don't use up too much battery. The sound quality is pretty clear as well. Feels pretty sturdy too.

When ever I’m outside fixing my garden it’s a great speaker have it’s loud enough for me to hear but not too loud to the point that my neighbors get annoyed by the noise.

Decently loud but doesnt seem to travel far which is good for what I use it for. The luve feature usnt that good but cool. Only complaint is I feel like it doesnt last that long especially with lights on.
