Such a large grand sound out of a small unit. The quality of sound fills the room. Loving the lighting display to the music.

At first I thought what the heck its small will not take up a lot of space. After connecting and hearing the sound it was putting out. I was very impressed.

Bought this for my 17 year ild for Christmas and she seems to love it. She brings it with her when she is taking a shower.

Best place to start is in summary... Very cool little speaker! Arrived in standard cardboard box, opened up and nicely presented factory packaging. I was confident in knowing I would be getting a good product. After opening, charging and familiarizing myself, it paired quite quickly. No problem at all. Sound quality was really quite good for a small package. Would be perfect for outdoor activities... Pool, beach, yard work etcetera. It is listed as IP67 rating for "dustproof" and "waterproof", but more on that a little later. The light feature is a little gimmicky but the kids like it, so I guess it's cool. The unit does a have some features I was not able to test, but worth mentioning is the "Party Chain" where multiple units can be synched up. Pretty cool, but I'm not sure how valuable or often you would really use it. The ap was as to be expected from Sony. Gives you easy control over speaker features, BUT it's yet another ap in a seemingly never-ending sea of aps. I also like the size. Really good and portable unit. It can be placed horizontally or vertically dependent on need and environment so that's a handy feature. As previously mentioned, this unit is IP67 rated. What does that mean? First, it can be submersed into a meter of water for up to 30 minutes. That said, I personally would not test it, but I would be 100% comfortable with this little guy with the kids out by the pool, at the beach or use it to work in the yard and if a sprinkler came on, no problem. It is also listed on the IP67 scale as dust-proof. Would I sandblast it? No way, but would I take it to a silky sand beach in Western Florida or crescent beach in Hawaii? Yes, by all means. In all this is an excellent choice for a very good sounding, easily portable and dust/water-proof speaker. Also, for the price point, it's a great option for the kids to use in their ever-active list of activities.I would have no reservations recommending to a friend. Nice little unit! This Sony portable speaker is very nice, affordable and my kids really loved it because of the sounds quality plus durability.

This was purchased for my husband as a Father’s Day gift, he loved it at first. It was pretty loud and overall great!! He began to notice that it died super fast and he no longer liked it. Anytime he wanted to use it, it was dying. We’re a pretty outdoor type family, so we always love having music outside with us, at the beach, etc. We returned this speaker and traded it for the wonderboom 2, which we LOVE!!!

Good bass, lights are kinda cool for mood lighting, BT connection is solid. A little distortion at max volume. Wish it were USB-C instead of micro-USB.

This speaker sounds very good and clear and was well worth the purchase. Definitely not a let down on Sony’s part!

Excellent Father's Day Gift! My dad can hear his music from anywhere in his apartment. It was worth the money and then some.

I purchased two of these. one for each daughter. They use them often and they let me borrow them sometime.

We didn’t want a smart speaker, and we didn’t want to spend $150. This was a great balance of price and performance.

Extra bass. Powerful speaker for that size. It’s my second one and it says it can pair with other to play Same time.

With or without the app this is an easy set up with unusually high quality , room filling sound from a single speaker
