This is a pretty disappointing product. Everything about it is great up until about an hour or two into using it and battery life is below 50 percent. After that the product decides to only be able to be at half it’s volume until it can be plugged in. So then the product is only at its best capabilities if it’s plugged in at all times.

I love this speaker. The sound is great and it's small enough to carry around with you.

I have never been disappointed with Sony products. Will continue to purchase.

Bought this little Bluetooth speaker for a spare tv, it made my wife happy.

This is a great little speaker. It’s a cylinder 8 inches long and a little less than 3 inches in diameter. It has good heft for its size, and it has a rubberized exterior so it can be handled. There are four little feet on it to prevent it from rolling away if you set it on its side, or it can be stood on end. All controls are along one side, and there is a little “hatch” that opens to access the charging port and audio-in jack to connect it by hardwire to an audio source. But the point of this is that it is Bluetooth-capable, and, after charging it first as recommended in the accompanying manual, I had it connected to my smartphone and playing songs from my playlist in no time at all. The sound is excellent, with good bass from such a small device. Of course, Sony calls it an “Extra Bass” portable Bluetooth speaker, and it certainly lives up to that description. The device flashes a few lights in time to the music as well. I’ve been using this in my garage for about a week now, and I have enjoyed it greatly. One of its best advantages is its extreme portability. I move it around the garage as I move around. I can use it to answer the phone as well. It’s small enough to fit into a larger coat pocket, and, of course, with the rubberized exterior, it is easy and comfortable to grip by hand. There are many portable Bluetooth speakers out there, and most are pretty good. This one is as well, and it stands out for its small size, excellent sound, and portability. Highly recommended.
