The sound is incredible and the size is so handy you can carry it anywhere. I love the different colors that it comes in and the price was so good that I had to come back and buy another one as a gift for a friend.

I usually take it on hikes or use it outside when I'm chilling by my fire pit and you can definitely hear the bass even in wide open spaces. No need to get the fancier model with the LEDs unless you're into that sort of thing _-_

ok for a Sony speaker

Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.sound quality is decent, when sitting upright the bass kicks in and make a difference, battery life is average, if i can compare the sounds its almost the same as a jbl but doesn't get as loud but gets the party going. was a gift for my wife parents, they love it, my wife is happy, its a win win.

Approx. 12 hours (STAMINA mode/ Volume at 34)
Approx. 10 hours (EXTRA BASS on/ Volume at 31)

It gives off a big bass feel while still being light enough and compact that its not an inconvenience. I would say its well worth the money. Especially for the price, when compared to JBL. You get your moneys worth.

Great gift for college student!

Very solid speaker

Battery life is OK, but I seem to have to recharge more often than I'd expected. I use it around the house, golf course, etc. I haven't tried the pairing feature yet, but would like to pick up another in the near future to give it a go for a richer sound out by the pool or hanging out on the porch.

Lithium-ion battery life Approx. (please ensure a full charge)
12 hours: Volume level of the unit set to 34, the sound mode set to STAMINA.
10 hours: Volume level of the unit set to 31 and with the factory default settings (sound mode: EXTRA BASS).
3 hours: Volume level of the unit set to maximum and with the factory default settings (sound mode: EXTRA BASS).
As with any battery operated speaker, Actual performance time may vary from the listed time due to the volume, songs played, surrounding temperature, and usage conditions. Lastly, it has also STEREO PAIR feature in which 2 SRS-XB23 speakers are required. By connecting 2 speakers via BLUETOOTH connection, you can enjoy a more powerful sound.

The have a surprising amount of bass for small speakers and are more than comparable to a lot of higher-end speakers. But, I can take these just about anywhere.
