Great cup holder speaker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the size of this for sitting in your cup holder of a chair while camping our sitting out with friends. It has great sound for the size and more than enough battery life. The IP67 rating means that if it rains or near the beach/pool i am safe which is a big deal as I use it most there. Another great speaker that offers more uses compared to the larger Sony speakers that have better sound but you end up leaving them on the ground or they are more cumbersome to carry. This is small and easily moved. The Green color is cool.

Great build and powerful sound

Thank you for sharing your honest review. It's good to know you like the very good build and durable design of the speaker. To get the sound that you prefer, download the Sony Music Center app, and you can actually fine tune the sound of your XB23 to your liking. There is a built in EQ that has 20 points of control for Bass, Midrange, and Treble. You can also change the speaker set up from Mono to Stereo to suit your needs. Also, try playing another source on the device. For example, try another music app to see if the issue is with a particular app.

Awesome! We can’t thank you enough for purchasing two! The SRS-XB23 has undergone extensive shock testing to make sure it can withstand the inevitable knocks, bumps and scrapes that come with everyday use. Even if you drop it, the SRS-XB23 will keep on working. It also has an IP67 rating which makes the speaker dustproof, waterproof, rustproof and washable

Audio quality decent

I’m no audiophile but this isn’t the best sounding Bluetooth speaker. Synced easily and worked as advertised but probably 8/10 from what I expected
