While we're glad you like most of the features, we're sorry to learn you're experiencing unexpected issues with the second speaker to work. If you're unable to turn on the speaker or the speaker suddenly turns off, follow the steps provided below to resolve the issue:

• The rechargeable built-in battery may be empty or running low. Connect the speaker to an AC outlet with a USB AC adaptor (commercially available).
• The auto power off (Auto Standby) function may have activated. After about 15 minutes in certain circumstances, such as when the volume of the audio input is low, the power will automatically turn off. Raise the volume of the connected device for use, or set the auto power function to off.

If the Bluetooth function doesn't work when selecting your model from the Speaker & Group setting (in Music Center), perform the Bluetooth connection from the settings of your smartphone. The SRS-XB23 has undergone extensive shock testing to make sure it can withstand the inevitable knocks, bumps and scrapes that come with everyday use. Even if you drop it, the SRS-XB23 will keep on working. It also has an IP67 rating which makes the speaker dustproof, waterproof, rustproof and washable

There is even an EQ in there—which can be customized to fine-tune your music to your liking. You may also try the STEREO PAIR in which 2 SRS-XB23 speakers are required.
