Expecting Better

I've been taking it out on my hikes/outdoor activities, and enjoying it during my indoor activities. It's not the loudest speaker, but It was just what I wanted at the moment, so I'm happy with it:)

Better than expected

Good speaker but lacks bass.

STAMINA - (EXTRA BASS OFF) - Power saving
EXTRA BASS - (EXTRA BASS ON) - Heavy bass sound

Very nice! We're glad your son loves the speaker. The SRS-XB23 has undergone extensive shock testing to make sure it can withstand the inevitable knocks, bumps and scrapes that come with everyday use. Even if you drop it, the SRS-XB23 will keep on working. It also has an IP67 rating which makes the speaker dustproof, waterproof, rustproof and washable. Thank you for choosing Sony!

Good but not best

Not bad so I kept it. But once of my other guys got one same place 10 bucks less and was louder. Nicer. And had lights
