Thank you for the positive feedback. The SRS-XB23 has undergone extensive shock testing to make sure it can withstand the inevitable knocks, bumps and scrapes that come with everyday use. Even if you drop it, the SRS-XB23 will keep on working. It also has an IP67 rating which makes the speaker dustproof, waterproof, rustproof and washable.

I like that the extra bass can be turned off when not wanted or needed. It was very easy to hook my phone to and I had no issues playing music from different sources. I was also able to hook it to my projector via bluetooth which was a huge deal for me as I was worried that playing the projector at a higher volume for long amounts of time could harm it so this solved that issue!!!! Though I do have to control the volume via the speaker but only with that device, when using my phone I can use either device to turn it up and down. The battery has a very good long life and has lasted through everything I have thrown at it. It has a button to push to check the battery status which is nice. I also found that while hooked to my phone it acts like a speaker phone during phone calls. It rang while I was using it so I figured ok I will see what happens, the other person was able to hear me clearly even when I moved it away from my phone to make sure it wasn't the phone picking up my voice. This was a pleasant surprise! No more trying to answer my phone with wet hands or hands covered in gunk. The range is amazing on this and I can't wait to go to the lake again! I like that I can leave my phone in the truck where it is safe and out of the sun and still have music! The only thing that was lacking was the instructions. Luckily the pairing is standard but who knows what other features I have yet to discover!
