Sweet Little BT Speaker

All black cylinder. the back has power button, Bluetooth button, battery button (tells you percentage of battery remaining) and some other buttons. Thank goodness for an indicator light to let you know it is doing what it is supposed to be doing. Also the charging port is in the back, with a rubber cover. All the buttons are black to that they do not stand out, BUT that makes it hard to read what the button is, without looking super close. It comes with the charging cable but no power block, so where you charge is up to you. It is USB-C, I'm sure you have plenty of devices with a power block that can accommodate (i.e., Android phone, Samsung tablet). It also has a thingy to hang it up. This thing sounds good considering it's size. And I can hear the base compared to other BT speakers. Nice all around sound as well. They say you can stand it up or lay it down, but there is noting to keep it from rolling if you lay it down so that's just weird, but whatever. There is a Sony app that if you download it to your phone, you can use it with the speaker for more sound settings and such (such as, Stereo vs. Mono - mono is the default; extra bass, other). This a sweet little speaker. I actually love using it. I would recommend it.

Thank you for the positive feedback. The SRS-XB23 has undergone extensive shock testing to make sure it can withstand the inevitable knocks, bumps and scrapes that come with everyday use. Even if you drop it, the SRS-XB23 will keep on working. It also has an IP67 rating which makes the speaker dustproof, waterproof, rustproof and washable

While we're glad you like the sound quality, we are sorry to hear about the issue with your unit. Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. The communication between the devices will be poor if there is an obstruction between the unit and the connected device. If you haven't yet, please try the following troubleshooting steps below to isolate the issue.
- Turn off the playback device and then turn it back on
- Change the position or location of the unit or connected device.
- If the connected device has a cover on it, take it off to improve the communication distance.
- If the connected device is in a bag or in a pocket, try moving the position of the device.
- Move the device away from the following:
• Areas where wireless LAN access points were set up.
• Radios, TV, tuners, microwave ovens and such other devices.
- Move the connected Bluetooth device close to the wireless speaker.
• Walls, metal racks or other objects may interfere with the connection between your wireless speaker and source device.
- Issues may occur if you're operating applications or accessing the settings on your mobile device. Stop the Bluetooth playback if you're performing these operations.
