I was looking for a speaker to use with my PC for streaming the baseball games and some shows. I didn't need such a high quality speaker but figured I would have it if I wanted to listen to music. Wow... the Yankee games never sounded so good!

I m always a big fan of music and when it’s come with a WiFi speaker it’s wonderful. I m always a big fan of Sony . So as always same good service from Sony I get and this product is best .both sound and base excellent.

This is a great speaker with great sound! Love that we can take it with us on the patio, into the bedroom or while traveling. It’s also great that you can connect these speakers with other speakers in the Sony family!

Bought this to use on a boat. Amazingly worked very well. Sounded great. Only thing is if you are using it during the day, make sure to turn the lights off. The lights use up a lot of the battery. Other than that great little speaker.

My main usage comes from using the bluetooth to play spotify from my phone. Ever since I started using it, I feel like my music before didn't have the same experience as it does now. I love it and highly recommend it.

I got this for my husband for Christmas. It very compact and easy to move around. So easy that teen daughter uses it most often. Only thing I would change is I would like for it to play louder and maybe a bit more bass.

This speaker is amazing and it connects right away to bluetooth on my phone. I bought it so I can use it outside by the pool this summer and I absolutely love it. The sound is amazing and I love the way it lights up.

The SRS-XB31 comes with the new completely dust and waterproof design and can go with you anywhere... heading to the beach, sand and surf are no problem - just rinse it when you are done! I found the light effects to be a nice touch, however, the beatbox feature is really pointless in my opinion as it isn't really practical for anything and is slightly delayed when playing sound thus it is off the beat of the music. Speaker has been a life saver whenever I want to listen music on short notice or take a trip. Lights can be turned off if you don’t want them but they are quite fun in a dark room. Easy to pack and take anywhere.

I played with the bose speaker and sony speaker in store and compared the two. The sony speaker has really great bass and ended up being cheaper for the same size bose speaker. The flashing lights are also a bonus!

I got this speaker as an upgrade from a smaller Sony speaker. Like going from an E class to an S class. I just wish someone hadn't walked off with it. I WILL get another. Sony seriously rocks

I like the design and feel of the speaker. It's covered with a nice smooth mesh material. Connecting to my phone's Bluetooth was very easy. I love how the lights blink to the beat of whatever music you play. Very nice feature. I really like that it's waterproof. I'd love to have this speaker blasting while I'm in the shower. My favorite thing about the speaker is that it doesn't lose connection when you're far away. I was able to leave the speaker in the front of my house and walk all the way to the back without losing connection. A big plus for me. Now, as far as sound, this baby can get loud. Nice bass. I'm not too sure about the vocals though. Sounds like they are singing in a box. Maybe it's just my settings that makes it sound like this. There is a feature on the speaker that will allow you to tap it and increase the volume levels. I couldn't get this feature to work properly. I tapped the speaker many times and nothing happened. I'll keep trying. Overall a nice speaker at a good price. I would recommend this speaker.

I use Sony SRS-XB31 with my MAC and it sounds great. The life of the speaker lasts longer and I love, love how it changes color from time to time. I have yet to try it outdoors. Overall, great buy!

I bought this for work but ended up being so blown away by the sound quality and bass output that I ended up keeping it for home and took my jbl charge 3 into work. This definitely has the charge 3 beat!

I bought this for my wife & she absolutely loves it, it really has the full sound spectrum from the low bass to the high tweets not to mention the cool led lights. You never can go wrong buying Sony products.

Love everything about it ! Especially the bass and the illumination feature. Have been using it every day for hours ever since I bought it in 2018. Absolutely great quality.

I use this speaker for normal use as well as an alarm clock. I tend to be a heavy sleeper, and at times sleep right through my alarms. This speaker is plenty loud enough for music as well as waking you up.
