I really like the speaker and it fit my budget, wish it had more bass but that would of cost more and budget was tight. It really fills my photo/video with sound.

This was a great purchase to put anywhere. I'm using it in an outside shed and couldn't be more pleased.

Sound ----- This sony speaker sits between SRS-XB41 and SRS-XB21 so its mid-sized in the range and yet compact but the sounds pretty good. on the back of the speaker you have Stereo Mini Jack (IN), USB A Terminal (DC OUT only) - this is for charging your phone, micro USB (DC IN) this is for charging the speaker. Rest of the controls are actually on the app, so you will really need the app to control lights, extra bass, equlizaers etc. So i played a bunch of soft and hip hop and it sounds pretty good for the size. the extra bass mode really makes the bass come out pretty good. If i crank it up all the way, the sound does not distort which is pretty important. My son loved the lighting on the speaker Battery life ------------ They claim 24 hours and it comes pretty close to that, i am happy. It also charges your phone but it will reduce the play time on the speaker For the price, i recommend it!

I love my Bluetooth speaker from Sony. Not quite as good as a Harmon Kardon, but price is better.

I have a few speakers in this price range and this one is by far the best. Great sound and quality.

I've used a number of Bluetooth speakers over the last few years and this one takes fun to a whole new level! Setup out of the box is easy, turn it on, pair and play. The Sony Music app is not required to use the speaker but does enable you to customize settings for the speaker, in particular the lighting and sound profiles. With the XTRA BASS setting, it sounds great and with the LIVE SOUND mode it sounds even better with an effect that makes it sound like it's filling the whole room. Very impressed and probably the best I've heard! The lights are reactive to the music playing, and strobes flash to the beats as well. I would like to see Sony either build more lighting settings or provide customization of the lighting but it's pretty cool as it is! The volume is loud and the sound was great overall on all of the tracks I've played. There is the ability to pair more speakers in party chain mode and as Left/Right speakers which is pretty cool and could be a heck of a lot of fun for a party. There's also a built-in feature that lets you tap on the different sides of the speaker to play drums or other percussion instruments as you're listening to your music - pretty cool! Also, you can customize the instruments in the app as well. The build and material is very nice and of course the speaker is waterproof so you can clean it off easily. The back compartment houses the micro USB charging port and a full size 1 amp USB port so you can sustain the charge on your phone with the speaker while it's playing. In all, this speaker is very cool, and I'd absolutely recommend this speaker for anyone looking for one that has good sound, and is small yet fun.

We take our Bluetooth speaker everywhere and we are so grateful for the volume and crisp sound.

Overall a great product. The only thing I don’t like is that when listening from Amazon Music the music would stop when the phone screen locked.
