It’s a really good speaker for the cost. It’s easy to use and the sound quality is great. The only downside to it is that it’s a bit on the heavier side, but not bad either way.

Great sound from a small package. I had one already and had to buy a second one. Very durable construction and quality parts. It absorbs wear and tear and holds a long charge.

Purchased this Bluetooth speaker to pair with an older Sony model that I have. I am able to pair them together which makes it great for entertaining with one indoors and one outdoors. Also works great at the beach! Plenty of volume and great sound without distortion.

I got this at half price so it was a no brainer. The sound quality is great and the battery life is pretty decent. I got it to use in my garage gym and it serves it's purpose well.

Had this for a few am months and have to say it’s a great speaker. Loud, good bass, and great battery life. Not really a fan of the strobe light affect but luckily you can turn that feature off.

I have the Sony SRS-XB31, which I thought brought life to any party with its heavy bass, loud sound, flashing strobe and light effects. The SRS-XB32 is the new and improved model. It is small but its sound easily fills an average sized room just like its older sibling did, but I noticed the bass is even more pronounced. Pairing it with a phone was incredibly simple. I just brought it close to the speaker and voila. It paired instantly thanks to NFC. Compatible with Sony's Fiestable app, which allows you to control the speakers with your voice and motion as well as create lighting effects, such as flashing strobe lights, the XB32 delivers an impressive battery life. I ran it for 13 straight hours the first day and have been using it sporadically for the last 3 and still haven’t needed to recharge it. Granted, I have not used its extra base mode all the time. It can charge mobile devices, and I used it only once to charge my iPhone, which was already at 73 percent. Even after that, the battery has not run out yet. The only thing missing is a USB-C port. The finish and build quality met my expectation. It is good to know that you can use it in wet places or dusty areas without worrying about damaging it. Most backpacks will have no problem fitting it. Going back to audio, the focus is bass and it does deliver a powerful one for its size even before any settings you might want to tweak. If bass is what you like, you will not complain. That is very good for partying, hip-hop and other types, but if you’re like me, you enjoy balanced music, with crisp clear audio too, and the XB32 can deliver it extremely well . You just need Sony’s Music Center app and chose standard audio for that. Also, try the live mode, which I liked better than the standard; maybe because of the super good 3D effect. The app also allows you to fine tune mid, bass and treble. Of course, if you have other SRS XB models, you can connect them together wirelessly for even more audio capability. It has many fun features like Party Booster, which allows you tap the speakers and get different sound effects, depending on where you hit. Another one is the patterns and colors. Watch out the battery though. It may run out faster when using all these features together. Since I use my phone to connect to it, I had the opportunity of receiving a phone call, which sounded very well at both ends of the conversation. I could hear and be heard clearly. With all the above and the its excellent portability, this speaker is very easy to recommend for beaches, swimming pools and any place where you need instant and good audio.

I watched a ton of reviews on a few different speakers and decided to go with this one because it was $100. I am not disappointed. The sound is awesome and the rgb lights are a added bonus.

These speakers are incredible to hear Sony's 3 dimensional signature is no joke you can hear the sound coming out from all four walls but see the the speakers where you have actually placed them it's beyond comprehension how it works One speaker alone is actually stereo but I have two of each model and highly recommend it. You can reassign them as a left channel & right channel speaker using Sony's free Music center app it also will allow you to turn them off remotely als9 turn on & off and adjust the light show's pattern they are amazingly cool & a whole lot of fun. I have last years XB21 and XB41. When the chance came to pick up the XB32 this year, I jumped at it. I have a few different Bluetooth speakers and for me, the Sony models just sound great. The app makes connecting to sources such as iheartradio, tunein, my library, spotify easy. With the latest patch, you can add any source you want. I just added Prime Music and it opens the app the same as those that were installed by Sony. Pairing the unit up takes little to no effort. Some of these type of devices can be a headache to get paired, but I've yet to struggle with any of the Sony units. I just add the unit to the app, it sees it within 20-30 seconds and I pick a music source via the Music Center app. I've tried audiobooks, music, even a slot machine game and if the phone is paired up with the speaker, it sound really good. And these speakers can get pretty loud. I rarely turn the volume up all the way. I only did it to test the units, then I usually have it set around 70%. I like my music loud and clear and having around 3/4's of the way is good enough in the house. Maybe outside I'd crank it, but my neighbors would probably no enjoy my taste in music or ask me to turn it down. Anyway, just saying I think most listeners would find their happy spot on the volume dial (is there a dial?) button then. Some observations about this years model. I like last years fabric case over the grippy rubber model this year. The unit still uses micro USB to charge it, rather than updating it to USB-C. Battery life on these seem really good. The unit arrived with a 70% battery and charging it took no time. I leave the older models uncharged for months and they always say 70% battery life left. I never go to use them and they're dead or dying. Bluetooth connection seems really good. I was in the office and it was in the kitchen, 3 walls away. I forgot that it was paired and went to call a friend. The phone started ringing and it sounded so far away that I hung up thinking my phone was messed up. I dialed again and followed the ring only to talk to my buddy through the speaker until I turned off Bluetooth. Things I rarely use, but the unit has are the fiestable app, live sound mode and sound effects. I played with the sound effects, but that entertained me for about a minute or two. Then I just enjoyed the lights and music. For anyone wanting a great sounding Bluetooth speaker from a well known manufacturer, that takes up little to no space and is very portable, I'd recommend any of the Sony products in this line. I've been nothing but happy with their performance and I'm sure you would be too!

We listened to a bunch of budget bluetooth speakers with the help of an assistant. This one hit a good spot between price and sound. It paired easily with Android phone, an I-phone and an apple tablet.

Really good little device! The size is perfect and you can take it anywhere. The charge stay for a long time where you can hear your music for longer periods of time!

We purchased this for our travel trailer initially and currently use it around the house. The sound is great and so easy to connect to, really enjoying our speaker. We love it!

For a smaller speaker this has great sound. Not the bass punch as the larger speakers but a nice upgrade from the smaller ones. Very happy with the balanced sound. We use it for traveling to have music in the hotel room. Portable with rechargeable internal battery and lasts for a good amount of time.

Easy to handle and easy to Connect to devices. Sound is amazing. The live Button gives a clearer Sound Like in concerts. Nice Bass. A little heavy and only to other sony speakers connectable for even morgen Sound.

Great sound for a compact Bluetooth speaker! The Sony music app makes it easy to fine tune your music that delivers an excellent sound signature! The colorful lights add a beautiful touch to an already wonderful speaker! One charge is sure to last a full day!

Awesome speaker for the price. Sound is good and the battery seems to last a while. I like this more than the bigger sony speaker i bought.
