If you do pick up that second one, I recommend placing the 2 paired speakers into "stereo" mode for true left/right channel separation. It is awesome!! Sound quality is really good and clear over a pretty eclectic taste in music, like rock, pop, opera, Latin dance...

They have fantastic sound. My grandson looks them together wirelessly for get together with friends. I would never buy anything but Sony is their sound and quality is fantastic

He really liked it. We have 2 Bose speakers, the micro and the color and they both don’t charge. So I decided to give him this. He really liked the extra bass. Though in my opinion I felt like the sound needed to be louder. If you have a party you need to have 2 of these. So we are planning to buy a 2nd.

Only thing I don’t like is when battery gets to “low”, the volume automatically turns down and will not go up until you plug it in but otherwise a great speaker! Loving it so far!!

The speaker is designed to reduce the maximum volume to about half when the remaining built-in battery power becomes less than 10% in order to protect the unit. You can, download the Sony Music Center app, pair with speaker and go to Settings/Power Options/BATT Level/ON, and the speaker will tell you the current charge level each time you turn it on. This may help you get through your day without hitting the low battery safety setting, as you will know if it needs a charge. Thank you for choosing SONY. ~Earl

They ROCK... I own the larger version for myself (41), really impressed by the sound and build quality of these speakers. If lost, would certainly buy again.

It has an app but I didn’t get it. I do wish I could adjust the bass without the app but it’s not a hig deal to me.

Voices sound especially nice, but without sacrificing the detail of background instruments. The light effects are optional, as they can be switched off.

Got it for a colleague and he loved it. Also has some interesting features that allow it to link to other Sony speakers for a more immersive experience. He's going to use it in his boat at the lake.
