The sound and bass coming from this lil speaker works amazing it has the right amount of sound treble and bass that you could even customize to your liking 10/10 recommend!

My 12-year old grabbed this after I got and I haven't been able to get back. Thankfully it is waterproof, though that should be more of an issue/help in the summer. (IPX7 means 1 meter/3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes) As far as sound goes, you can't really ask for anything better at this price point and size. Hopefully obvious, a bigger speaker will give you more bass. With the XB32, you are more than adequately covered for any of those heavy bass songs. I used to use Imagine Dragon's Radioactive to test out how well a speaker handles bass. Now, I'm using Above and Beyond by Bassnectar as it seems to serve that purpose a little better. Overall, nice crisp audio. Do press the "live" button to get some better sounds out of the speaker. You also have extra bass available and can combine the two. Really depends on what you're listening to on how much these help. There is a noticable difference when enabled. Do enable when listening outdoors to get more of a feel for being there. At just under 2 pounds, the speaker is relatively light, especially for one with so much power behind it. The multi-colored lighting is nice, but not something I would look for in a speaker. On the other hand, my twelve year old likes the extra it adds. Good battery life. I like the party mode where you can link multiple speakers (like 100 I think) together but have yet to try. I just don't get the drum kit sounds feature of the speaer. Perhaps I should try dropping it down a fligth of stairs to see how that sounds. I can't imagine why you'd want to bang hard on the different sides of the speaker. Love the sound of the speaker. I just wish there was some way to more easily carry it around as it lacks a way to add a strap. Backpack only I guess. Great extra powerbank, too, for those times when your phone needs a recharge. Just be sure to have cable. Now,if only I can get speaker back from my son.

sound is very good especially for the price. Getting started for this not particularly tech savvy consumer was not the easiest and the instructions included with the speakers were not ideal - I had to go online to get more clear instructions; but once I did, all went smoothly.

Best speaker, as always with Sony, still going strong after almost 2 years. Great customer service from Best Buy as always.

I love the Sony speaker battery life is very long and it’s very cool that the fact that you could charge your phone at the same time while you’re playing music

This thing sounds great. Plenty of bass and just enough high and mid tones for balanced sound out of a small speaker. The smaller Sony bluetooth speakers don't sound as good as this one does.

Gave this as a Christmas gift to two different people...they love it! Clear, loud, and has bass! They called me to say something about it, tells you they really like it!

This little thing is great, at first it didn't seem loud for me, brought it to the beach this past summer and realized it was sufficient, i would def buy this thing again

We bought this speaker for a friend's retirement. It sounds better than our own Bose speaker. It has amazing sound and we were well pleased with it. Will be buying one for ourselves soon.

I love this speaker. The sound quality is great and the Bluetooth range is perfect for my needs. The lights flashing along to the beat of the music is also a neat feature.

Excellent speaker for the price. Very high build quality. I even plugged in to the tv with 3mm jack and works perfect. No issues so far. Definitely worth the price.

Got this for our 17 year old to take by the pool and keep in his room otherwise. So far he really likes it. He said he couldn’t believe how much bass it has for a small speaker.

Great sound. Bought with the expectation I would buy a second and sync for surround sound. Don't need to do that for what I use it for - just working out at home. Sounds great.

I took one star off only because cell phones occasionally have difficulty connecting to the speaker without limiting the volume (like it was a car speaker). Sometimes you have to turn speaker off then on and reconnect. Otherwise the lights and sound are awesome.

This was for my daughter. She loves the speaker and I can definitely vouch for it being able to get to high volumes. Seems to so far be a great little speaker.

This speaker has a serious bass punch. My son really enjoys it, but he unfortunately thinks we want to experience it on the floor below him!! LOL!!

Makes you feel like you’re at a concert but only with the quality is all around , it’s not too much bass or treble it’s perfect for indoors and even better outdoors , it comes with a lot of features compared to its competitors, in small spaces it sounds a little wacky

Purchased speaker for my Daughter. She really loves this item. Easy to set up and sync with all your devices. She takes it with her everywhere. Great product.
