Great speakers, 4 all seasons, still rocking & they look & sound really cool.

The Sony XB32 is an impressive speaker right out of the box. The smooth rubbery feel, is pleasant to touch, as well as it looks classy. The cloth grill is a nice bonus, as many bt speakers are solid plastic. One of the main selling points of this speaker, is the LED lights. In order to get full customized options of the speaker, you’ll need to download 2 apps; Fiestable, and Music Center. This makes it a little inconvenient, having to switch between the 2 apps every time you turn on the speaker. I really wish Sony would just combine the 2 apps into one. For example, Fiestable lets you customize the color of the led lights, while Music Center lets you change the rhythm of the lights. I am not a fan of the 2 strobe lights in the front of the speaker, so through the Music Center app I was able to turn them off and just keep the LED light on. The speaker has some really nice features, such as party mode, weather proof, charge other USB devices, the ability to add additional XB32’s for left and right speakers, you can also party chain up to 100 speakers, motion controls, not to mention an impressive battery life. The sound of the XB32 is pretty impressive, especially for it being such a small speaker. It provides plenty of bass, as well as a good balance of highs and lows. The speaker also gets really loud, without causing any distortion. This is a nice feature that many bt speakers don’t offer. Overall, This is a great speaker that becomes hindered by the fact that you have to use 2 different apps every time you turn it on - just to get the desired look. Aside from that, the battery life, sound, as well as all the added bonuses - really make this a must buy for anyone looking for a new portable bluetooth speaker.

Overall this is a decent speaker, the party boost function is a little bit ridiculous though. It doesn’t work well at all and is more gimmicky than anything else. I like it pretty well otherwise, although the charge does not last very long if you use all of the lights and have it at full volume and you can’t simply plug it in and continue using it that way. You have to charge it back up quite a bit to use it again.

Nice speaker can get pretty loud but the speaker is not very Clear sometimes

Sound quality is amazing, the lights, the app all do what is intended. But, with all that even in standard mode, no bass boost or lights, the battery only last 6 hours, not approx 24 like advertised. After the battery hits 20% which is rather quick the speaker enters limp mode which reduces volume to 10% until you charge it or it dies.

Great sound with great bass. Love the light effects also. Would buy again!
