We are super rough on speakers so we needed one that was shock proof, water proof, etc, and this one works so much better than I expected! Definitely recommend it!

I wouldn’t change this sound for nothing! This speaker has been my best friend during my most recent trips and I love it since day one.

The Sony XB Extra Bass is an excellent sounding speaker. Has good bass for its size and gets pretty loud. Set up is easy and if you use the smart phone app you can customize the sound and lights. This speaker is IPX7 waterproof which means it can be submerged in water up to a meter in depth for 30 minutes or less. This feature seems to be standard these days but it is a great bonus for those of you that want to listen around wet areas. The build quality is also nice. It can definitely withstand some drops and bumps. It feels very solid. Overall, this is a great speaker. If you like Sony speakers, this one is worth a buy.

I have a home pc set up and I didn’t want bookshelf speakers. These are not really for a computer setup but I like them. Wireless and great for a small room like mine.

If you have seen or own the XB31 then you pretty much know what to expect from the updated XB32. Not a lot has changed, most noticeably being the way the lighting wraps around the edges. Positives: + Long battery life, which is shortened when using lighting. + Strong bass output and overall good quality sound. + Various lighting modes. + Music Center app allows for controls of sound and lighting. + Ability to charge other devices from the speaker via USB. + IP67 waterproof rating. Negatives: - Speaker is a bit heavy and bulky. - Sound can get a little harsh at louder volume levels. - Sound is directional, coming only from the front of the speaker. - Micro-USB still being used to charge instead of USB C. The XB32 retails for $150, same price as the UE Boom 3. I have both and I prefer the XB32 a bit more overall, but the Boom 3 still has a couple of advantages. The Boom 3 is a bit smaller and offers better portability, with the 360 degree sound. For on the go use, the Boom 3 is probably a better option, but doesn't have any lights. If I'm say going to be working in the garage, I'll grab the Boom 3. The XB31 is currently on sale for $99.99, so I probably would wait for the XB32 to go on sale for that price or pick up the XB31. There really isn't a lot of differences in the XB31 and XB32, with both being very solid Bluetooth speakers. Pretty much all brands of Bluetooth speakers tend to go on sale quite often, so I would never pay retail for any of them

The sound is pretty good!! Listen to it in a shop around 80db and I can hear it pretty well. Battery life leaves a lot to be desired. But that’s what a plug in is for. Pretty happy with it!

i was replacing a broken blue tooth speaker i had. the salesperson recommended this unit. i was def happy with my choice works great!

Never been disappointed with sony products. Sony has got to my knowledge the best in terms of sound, visuals and anything else tech related.

Pair with phone app for way more features then i expected, has been around splashing water and bumps and falls and still kicking strong tbh

I expected more for the price. It doesn't go as loud as cheaper speakers I've had. The bass gave out less than a month off using it, even while avoiding the max volume.

This is a great speaker. Colorful LED lighting changes to the beat. Works great, highly recommend

Bought this for my hubby as a bday gift. Great speaker! the only issue is that you cannot tell how long is left on the battery.

I bought this speaker for my boyfriend and he loves it. He brings it out for every BBQ and the flashing lights are great at night

Bought for my dad. He needs to listen to the radio at night for his tennitis. Its been two years and still going strong

Sound is great however if it’s not fully charged it won’t play at a high volume. The volume decrease immensely. Even when plugged in it still won’t play at a high volume.

I bought three of these---only two of them synced together---had to return the third and they were out of stock, no where to be found anywhere---not sure if they are still making them---may be a Covid thing

Excellent quality. I has lights which I turn off (I'm 70) but I couldn't be happier with the quality of my Sony speaker.

Love these. I got a pair. Great sound. Very durable. Can't get to far away though. Pairs well with other Sony speakers.
