I like the ability to turn off the lights on the speaker.

I bought this so my husband and I could talk to our children on the phone over the speaker and both of us hear. It connects to phone easy enough but the quality isn’t what I hoped for. It’s a good speaker for radio and so forth but phone conversations are muffled sounding.

Bought this to replace my JBL charge and I can say for the price I’m not impressed at all. The jbl puts out more bass and is a lot louder and more clear. Hope this helps someone. Ended up exchanging it for the new jbl charge 2.

Not the best sounding speaker on the market, and a little too expensive for what you get. If I were to purchase another Bluetooth speaker, I would probably choose anther brand next time.

For the price I think this was not worth it. The battery life didn’t last long probably only 2 hours. The sound was ok, but not for the price. There wasn’t much bass either.

We had it for a couple of days and returned it. It would connect but you had to use an app for it to work. When playing the volume would turn itself down. Then it wouldn't charge and we had it plugged in for 8 hrs and it only went up 10%. It also sounded like the device it was connected to was getting further away and the music would break up playing a song, when the device was next to it.

When I first bought these I really liked it but it has been a year since I have owned it and the volume decreases on it own. I used it over the weekend and the sound no longer gets high. I wish I purchased the same brand my son bad which he has had for at least 3-5 years and its still going strong. I would not recommend these speakers at least not for long term use.

I was looking for a budget friendly portable speaker. I purchased this along with a couple others to compare. The Bose sound link Mini and the Mega boom 3 were much better speakers for the price. This was disappointing because I'm a big fan of Sony products. I definitely think there are better products out there for the money.

Was really expecting way more with this but it gets the job done... Not too happy with it but oh well.

I bought this because I went to Costco and listened to the last model. It sounded great! So I got online and bought the newest model and picked it up curbside because you can't go into a Best Buy store right now. Never again! Don't buy anything until you can look at it and listen to it in person. Won't be doing any more purchases at Best Buy until they open those doors.

It definitely has the volume for use outdoors, but unfortunately my life is more sitting at a desk than sitting on the beach. The sound quality from this little speaker is great. The extra bass really gives it a full sound, and this only gets better if you have a second Sony speaker to pair it with. When you have multiple speakers, the lights automatically switch to showing the full rainbow of colors and flashing strobe lights on either side. These lights are really my only issue with the speaker. It can be annoying to have the flashing going constantly, and the colors constantly changing, having no real relation to the music playing. They say you can use their “Fiestable” app if you want to control the lights, but I don’t see the app doing anything at all. Individually, you do have more control over the colors and can select just cool colors or all warm colors, things of that nature. My other issue with this speaker is that the only changes from the previous generation are aesthetic. This speaker has the textured speaker fabric over the front, and a matte grey plastic for the rest of the body. The previous speaker is entirely covered in fabric. This is the only change between the XB31 and the XB32. The sound, battery, inputs/outputs are all identical. If you can save money by getting the older model, do that.
