Thank you for your review, and we are sorry if you are having an issue with the volume/loudness on your two XB33. This is definitely not the experience we wanted you to have. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your speakers. Please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools like an equalizer to fine-tune your XB33 and maximize the volume to your liking. Please also ensure that you fully charge the speaker, especially after it has gone below 10%, and hit the auto volume limiter (designed to keep your speaker safe). Then Increase the volume level of the wireless speaker and source devices.
You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different audio compression and transmission types.
