I thought the volume would be a bit louder, but not bad for the price. The control buttons on top are hard to see as they are the sane color as the speaker,

If you haven't, to get the most out of your speaker, please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools like an equalizer to fine-tune your XB33 and maximize the volume to your liking. Please make sure as well you fully charge the speaker, especially after it has gone below 10%, and hit the auto volume limiter (designed to keep your speaker battery healthy & safe). You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission. We will have your feedback about the buttons noted as we always strive to make this a better experience.

I also have a JBL and definitely comparable to the Charge 4 at a better price point. The only thing that would make it 6 stars is if it had an onboard charging cord compartment.. I hate trying to keep track of all my USB charging cords..

Started panicking because I was hosting Christmas in less than a week and had nothing to play music. I needed to find something quick and inexpensive. Did some research, but nothing was jumping at me. This popped up a couple of times, but it kept giving me beach vibes (what beach would I be going to in the winter lol), it was small and I felt that it would not give enough bass so I can feel the music. I was really stressing out at this point and reading the reviews from people who were giving their expertise advise and comparisons had me all over the place in a good way. I told myself to just go into a store and feel it out. Could not make a decision and got help from a salesman who pointed me directly to this. Here we go. Sold!!!!!! This Bluetooth speaker really gave the bang for my bucks. From the compact style, color, the bass, sound and gotta give it up for the lights. I got a lot compliments.
