Bluetooth connection often gets lost, especially if more than one device is connected to it. Sound gets lower and goes back up... static sometimes. I tried to talk to the warranty people but they kept pushing me away and claiming that my additional coverage had expired

Great sound, bass is excellent and the EQ can be easily adjusted from the app to dial in the sound you want. Haven't had to recharge the battery and I've used it for at least 20 hours so far. Sounds great at low and high volume levels, haven't experienced any distortion whatsoever. Highly recommended.

Worked for about a week after that it didnt charge. Returned it and went with a JBL xtreme instead

I genuinely in shock at how loud the Sony XB-41 can go. We're talking hearing loss levels of loudness should you need it without any loss of quality, weird pops, etc. It's just flawless. The lights can be disabled (which I did) and it remembers that setting (yay!) between power cycles. Battery lasts forever and it charges using either USB or a DC power plug. Not sure why they have both, as I prefer USB as it means you can charge almost anywhere. Tip. The first time you connect via Bluetooth you are invited to install the Sony app (it's free). If you don't install the app you can still control all of the XB-41 features via buttons that are behind the watertight rubber panel.

Amazing speaker! I’ve had it for years and works great. It says it’s water resistant but definitely does way more than that! My ex put the speaker in a full sink of water for a whole day and still works perfectly! I love it

Setup was extremely easy, I paired this speaker without having to look at any instructions. The sound quality is very good and this speaker doesn't take up a lot of space. I like that I can also charge my phone from this speaker. I used the party chain feature with another compatible speaker and it was very cool. I like this speaker a lot, I think I am going to make it the designated speaker for my echo dot in the living room.

This is the best bluetooth speaker box ever! Very simple to set up, just download app and pair to phone or computer. Great sound! It also has a "live" setting to make your music sound like in concert. What I really love about this speaker is the lights! You can set the speaker to change the color of the lights or just use the scrobe light feature! Water resistant so it is perfect for those pool parties where I can be the DJ.

Good bass but really bad high notes. Very unhappy with the sound!

Had to return it. Came defective after 5 hours the volume went down.

The speaker didn't sound how it did in the store. A little to low so I returned it.

I really love the Sony - SRS-XB41. This speaker has amazing sound quality and the style is awesome. The lights really add to the listening experience. It’s really nice to place in a room with the lights off and listen to your favorite music. The speaker is easy to control and the portability makes this speaker ideal for nearly any situation. I would recommend this speaker to everyone.

I'll start by saying the speaker is very well built. The build quality is apparent right away. Very hefty and solid. Design is very nice, low profile footprint and has rubberized grips to keep it in place whether you're indoors or out. Controls are very easy to use and are super intuitive. Volume is very nice for a speaker of this size, it easily fills up a room. Overall sound quality was very tight and clean. I'll get to the bass in a minute. The lighting on this unit is very cool, and really does add a bit of flair, even just for some casual listening, but it can also be turned off quite easily when you'd like it to be. I only have one unit, so could not try the multi pairing for party mode, but it can pair up to 100 of these at a time, so if you have more, that is a great feature to have for multi room or large occasions. Unfortunately for me, the bass on this speaker is lacking. For a speaker of this size, build and most of all price, the bass was simply sub par. Even worse is that "Extra Bass" is advertised as the top feature of the XB41, all over the box and online description. At low volume, sure the bass is very nice, the overall sound is tight, clean and was nice low end. But turn it up to just normal room filing volume, and any amount of bass heavy music like Rock, Pop, Metal or Hip Hop will begin to distort. In order to keep it from distorting, you have to EQ the music to at least flat, in order to increase the volume. I have other speakers in this same size and feature range, and none of them distort bass as badly as the XB41. If you're looking for a nice, low volume speaker with some flair, this is for you. If you want to enjoy your music at a normal listening volume without distorted bass or having to EQ all the bass away, I would keep looking.

I would like to exchange to another brand. Maybe a Bose one.

This surely will fill the room with sound. Great for outdoor spaces also. Very good sound quality and awesome color. Unlike the xb21 where I thought the lights on it were tacky. They did a much better job with the xb41 and looks much better. Especially in the dark.

I'm not satisfied with the product. Battery is supposed to last 24 hrs. I'm lucky if I get 5 out of it. Sound quality is decent, although not very loud.

So I did a ton of research before I bought this and everywhere it said it was loud. I brought it home connected my phone and was immediately disappointed. This is furthest from loud. I'll be returning it.

I own two models of this speaker and I like this larger model better than the smaller one. It is an attractive color and the lighting is cool. it follows the bass rhythms and it's fun to watch. The sound is very good and it's simple to pair and use with mobile devices. It has been a welcome addition to my desk while I'm working. These speakers look nice on a desk or shelf and sound very nice.

Not bad but not great neither.. annoying reminder of battery low when 20% left and repeats indefinitely.. very very very annoying..
